As a Tax Partner, A.J. works with clients providing personal, corporate, and estate taxation advice specializing in owner-managed businesses. His experience includes purchase and sale planning, corporate reorganizations, business succession, and estate freezes, estate and will planning, compensation strategies for owner-managed businesses, and cross-border tax planning for business owners.
A.J. graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2004 and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2006. Since, he has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in 2009, the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business course in 2011, and the Corporate Reorganizations course in 2015. A.J. joined DJB in November of 2013, having previously worked at one of the Big Four public accounting firms.
Alexis joined DJB's Hamilton office in the fall of 2020 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Manager in January 2022. She provides assurance, accounting, and advisory services to private companies in a number of industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, and not for profit.
Prior to DJB, Alexis worked at a big-four firm providing assurance services to both public and private companies. In all of her professional roles to date, she has focused on building and maintaining client relationships, and on the coaching and development of team members.
Alexis holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration Honours with Accounting and Co-operative Options with Distinction and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University (2017). She received her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2020.
Alexis is proud to support the local community through attendance and participation at various events and fundraisers throughout the region. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeping active outdoors, exploring many of the local hiking trails.

Alisha works in general practice and provides accounting, assurance, and tax services to businesses and their owners throughout the Niagara region. She has a wide range of experience in a variety of industries, including non-profit organizations, healthcare professionals, wineries, and the agriculture sector.
Alisha qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2012, after graduating from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2008. She joined DJB as a co-op student in 2005 and became full time in 2008. She was promoted to Manager in 2016 and Senior Manager in 2022.
As part of her service to the community, Alisha serves as Treasurer and volunteers in various other capacities at Grace Gospel Church in Niagara Falls. She has previously served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation of Niagara, and as Chair of the Audit Committee and volunteer for Redeemer Bible Church.
Alisha spends her free time with her husband and 3 daughters, often biking or hiking the many trails in the Niagara Region. She also enjoys playing piano and finding time to read a good mystery novel.

Amanda joined DJB in 2012 as a co-op student in the former Grimsby office and became full-time in 2015. Amanda transferred to the Firm's Niagara offices (St. Catharines and Welland) in March 2019. Amanda works with clients of all sizes and stages in the business lifecycle.
Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Accounting degree and Master of Accountancy from Brock University in 2015 and her CPA, CA designation in February 2017. She was promoted to Manager in January 2021.
Amanda is proud to support the community through attendance at a number of local fundraising events, including her role as Treasurer for the Welland Downtown BIA.

Amanda is currently the Partner-in-Charge of the Hamilton office. Her areas of expertise include assurance and accounting services and consulting to owner-managed and family operated businesses. Amanda also has extensive experience with not-for-profit enterprises, including knowledge of reporting issues and disclosures particular to large and small organizations. In addition to the not-for-profit sector, she also has industry experience with manufacturing, greenhouses and greenhouse related industries, wholesalers, and transportation.
Amanda joined the former Grimsby office in 1988 after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree, obtained her CPA designation in 1991 with the Firm, and was admitted to partnership in 1999.
Amanda has served on the Firm's Technical and Human Resources Committees.
Amanda is currently treasurer of The Grimsby Life Centre and also serves as a member of The Grimsby Community Fund and the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament Committee. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Grimsby and District Chamber of Commerce for a number of years, including terms as Treasurer and President. Amanda also serves on the Finance Committee of Burlington East Presbyterian Church and served as Treasurer for a number of years.

As a Tax Partner located in the Firm's Hamilton office, Andrew works exclusively in the area of tax planning for Canadian private companies and their shareholders. He is experienced in dealing with entrepreneurs in all stages of their professional and personal lives. Andrew prides himself on his ownership and accessibility of his clients, ensuring he gives accurate, creative, and timely tax advice. He has a wide range of experience with owner-managed businesses in a variety of industries, including construction & real estate, manufacturing, services, entertainment, and consumer industrial products. Andrew also has experience assisting very large corporate clients with tax compliance and tax planning opportunities. In addition, Andrew has provided tax planning services with the structuring of business sale and acquisition transactions and implementing estate and succession plans for owner-managers.
Andrew qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2003, after graduating from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2000. Andrew joined DJB in 2012, having previously held the position of Senior Tax Manager at a national public accounting firm, where he had worked since 2000. Andrew has completed numerous courses, including the CICA In-Depth Tax course in 2006, the CICA Corporate Reorganizations course in 2009, and the CICA Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business course in 2011. He has been practicing as a full-time tax specialist since 2003.
Andrew serves as the Firm's Construction & Real Estate niche leader. As part of his service to the community, Andrew has been involved in a number of not-for-profit organizations, including volunteering at the City of Hamilton's Small Business Enterprise Centre and various minor sports organizations.

Andrew is currently a member of the Firm's Executive Committee and works out of DJB's Hamilton office where he provides accounting, assurance, taxation, and consulting services to a variety of owner-operated businesses and not-for-profit organizations in the Hamilton, Halton, and Niagara regions. He has also served on DJB's Technical Committee, Marketing Committee and Professionals Niche Group. Andrew has clients in a variety of industries with extensive experience with home building, land development, construction, and professional clients. In 2017, Andrew was a recipient of the Business Link "40 Under Forty" business achievement award.
Andrew obtained an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University in 2005 and became a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2006. He began his career as a co-op student in DJB's Grimsby office in 2001 and was admitted to partnership in 2015.
In the community, Andrew is a past and current coach for his son's hockey & baseball teams. He is a Rotarian who has previously served as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Hamilton and has served as Treasurer of the Grimsby and District Chamber of Commerce. Andrew is also a member of the Hamilton Golf & Country Club.
Angela joined DJB in November 2018 and was promoted to Manager in January 2022. She specializes in personal and corporate taxation, providing planning and compliance services to owner-managed businesses of varying sizes. Prior to joining DJB in 2018, Angela worked at a public accounting firm in Toronto, providing both assurance and tax services.
Angela qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2015, after graduating from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Degree in 2012. She completed the CICA In-Depth Tax program in 2018.
Angela proudly supports her community through her attendance at a number of local charitable events and fundraisers. She previously served as treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation of Niagara. In her spare time, Angela enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending quality time with her family.

Anne Louise currently serves as the Firm's Director of Technical Services and designated internal monitor for quality control. She qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1984 after graduating from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Anne Louise has 30 years of experience in public practice with DJB, as well as 10 years of experience in the automotive industry. While employed with DJB, Anne Louise has been the lead auditor on many engagements and performs detailed working paper reviews for review and audit engagements. She also performs a quality control review of the financial statements for assurance engagements. Anne Louise has considerable involvement in the Assurance Technical Committee, quality control, and developing and leading in-house training. She enjoys mentoring and helping the accounting students as they grow in their careers.

Arber works out of the Firm's Burlington office where she has experience in providing business, financial, and tax consulting services (as well as GST/HST assistance) to owner-managed businesses. This includes audit and assurance services to businesses throughout the Halton and Niagara regions.
Arber was admitted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honours society for business programs accredited by AACSB International in July 2006. She qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2009, after graduating from Brock University in 2008 with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree. Arber began her career as a co-op student in DJB's Burlington office in 2005, became a Manager in 2012, Senior Manager in 2019, and was admitted to partnership in 2023. In 2016, she completed the GST/HST In-Depth Tax course.
In the community, Arber serves as Treasurer for International Needs Canada and volunteers at charity events. She also served as Treasurer for Vineland Missionary Church. Arber enjoys beach volleyball and baseball. She loves spending free time with her husband and 4 children, going for walks, playing sports, and enjoying the outdoors.

Ashley joined DJB Wealth Management in late 2019. She brings over 10 years of experience in office administration. Ashley completed her Diploma in Business Administration with honours and continued on to complete her Post-Graduate Certificate for Medical Office Assistant.
Ashley is a firm believer that excellent client service is the backbone to all great organizations and with this in mind as her top priority, she is able to deliver on that core value through each client interaction, while maintaining client confidentiality and confidence.
Family is extremely important to her, she loves spending quality time with her husband, her son, and her two dogs. On the weekends, you will find her somewhere outdoors- whether it be snowboarding, kayaking, or hiking with her family. Ashley also enjoys practicing yoga and has completed her Yoga Teacher Training course.
Ashley is an active supporter of the Hamilton City Kidz, Princess Margaret Foundation, and SickKids Hospital.

By bringing these areas together, Brad and his team are able to clearly define a client's goals, provide solid financial planning advice all while helping his clients mitigate the risks in their planning.
The focus during Brad's career has been to work with professionals, business owners, and families to help them achieve their goals while protecting what is important to them. He is a member in good standing with ADVOCIS, FP CANADA, and the Independent Financial Brokers of Canada. Brad holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS), and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. The CLU is considered Canada's premier wealth transfer and estate planning designation.

Brent leads the Firm's Economic Loss Quantification Group. He works with plaintiff and defence lawyers, as well as insurance companies in the preparation of a variety of economic loss calculations (including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall claims, medical malpractice claims, dependency claims, etc.), commercial litigation claims, and income replacement benefits (IRB) calculations. Brent has served as an expert witness in court, as well as at arbitrations, pretrials, and settlement meetings. His experience also includes business interruption insurance claims.
In addition, he provides consulting, accounting, and financial planning services for businesses and their owners. He has a broad range of experience in manufacturing, construction, real estate, retail, distribution, and not-for-profit organizations.
Brent qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1986 after graduating from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1983. He joined DJB in 1986 and was named Partner in 1999. He is Certified in Financial Forensics and also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Brent has been active as a Director and Treasurer for several not-for-profit organizations and has served as a member on various committees of the local Chamber of Commerce.

Carolyn is currently the Partner-in-Charge of the St. Catharines and Welland offices. Carolyn has a wide range of experience with not-for-profit organizations and privately-held, owner-managed businesses in a variety of industries, including healthcare professionals, manufacturing and distribution, and real estate.
Carolyn received her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2006 after graduating from Brock University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree with First Class Standing. She began her career at a local Niagara Falls firm as a CPA student before joining DJB in 2006 and was admitted to partnership in 2016.
Carolyn is a lifelong Niagara resident and actively participates in the community by attending various charity events and golf tournaments. She has served the community as Treasurer for the YWCA Niagara Region, a Board Director for the United Way of Niagara Falls and Fort Erie, and as a member of The Tourism Partnership of Niagara's Finance and Audit Committee. After graduating from Brock University in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration and Politics, Cathy started her career at a financial securities dealership. She went on to complete the Canadian Securities Course and earned her Investment Representative license. Cathy continued to build her knowledge and experience by working at a mutual fund investment firm.

Cam is the current Chair of the Firm's Executive Committee. In this role, he helps to set and shape the strategic direction of the Firm, in addition to servicing clients.
He provides accounting, assurance, tax, and consulting services to businesses and their owners, emphasizing a comprehensive, proactive and timely approach to providing professional advice. He has a wide range of experience with privately-held, owner-managed businesses in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate development, and service-oriented industries, as well as experience with many not-for-profit organizations.
Cam's community involvement currently includes serving on the Board of Directors, audit committee, and finance and investment committee for the Hamilton Community Foundation, and on the Board of Directors, executive committee, and finance committee for the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra.
Cam graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 1998. A member of the Firm since 1997, he qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2000 and was admitted to partnership of the Firm in 2007.
