DLM is committed to real empowerment within our own environment as well as our wider community... Over 30% of DLM's top management is black. We have a mentoring programme in place in order to fast track the progress of black employees and to ensure that our people are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge before they are promoted into managerial positions... DLM has "adopted" a number of child development and disabled persons centers where food supplies and groceries are delivered on a monthly basis. Further, our staff members are encouraged to donate clothing, toys and educational items which are delivered along with the groceries.
