As volunteers the members of Engineers Without Borders International are at risks but the risks they undertake are normally minimal. Volunteers have no right to compensation for themselves or their beneficiaries other than Engineers Without Borders International is able to afford... Engineers without Borders International offers assistance to small, rural communities whose population can be benefited by introduction and use of locally constructed renewable based technologies, natural potable water filtration systems, small sewerage disposal plants and other technological innovations including sustainable agriculture techniques that are needed within the rural communities.
