I did say x-photographer. After earning a BA in Photography from Ohio State I did some traveling through Europe and Asia before more/less settling in. People change and along the way I lucked into a temp job at Sun Microsystems in California where I discovered that I really enjoyed doing technical support, helping people with problems and especially working with the presentation of data. This lead to that and that lead into learning PHP/MySQL web development and web design. That's enough, the Reader's Digest version... Wordpress is now the content management system (CMS) of choice, having overtaken Joomla several years back. In this case it is very versatile in that you can select various themes (both commercial and free) as well as extensions to provide the functionality needed for your website.
