SHAH-KHAN DENTISTRY - Key Persons
Danielle is Dr. Shah-Khan's chairside assistant and works to make any restorative experience as comfortable as possible. She is a Winston-Salem native and currently lives in Lake Wylie with her husband, Josh. Danielle enjoys exercising, spending time with her family and being outdoors
Dr. Mustafa Shah-Khan was born and raised in Morganton, North Carolina. He received bachelor's degrees in chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Shah-Khan is a dean's list graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Shah-Khan also completed clinical externships in pediatric dentistry with The San Francisco Department of Public Health and in hospital dentistry with the Carolina's Medical Center General Practice Residency program.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Shah-Khan's training has continued since graduation. He spends significant amounts of time participating in advanced continuing education courses under the direction of the nation's leading dental educators. Dr. Shah-Khan has trained under Dr. Frank Spear with the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry as well as with Dr. Peter Dawson of the Dawson Center for Continuing Education.
Currently, Dr. Shah-Khan is affiliated with the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and has been a member of the prestigious Spear Faculty Club, a group composed of 300 of the leading cosmetic and restorative dentists from the United States, Canada and Europe.
Gabrielle is a Boston native, but has spent the majority of her life here in Charlotte, NC.She graduated from UNCW with a degree in Marine Biology, and then worked in veterinary medicine until she decided to follow a career in Dental Assisting.She graduated from CPCC in 2013 as a DAII and has been working in the dental administrative field since then.Gabrielle and her husband have a young son and enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
