DVI

DVI was launched in 2007. It has been established as a successor of the United Nations Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP) that has been active in Lithuania for 8 years since 2001 and now phases out after Lithuania has entered the EU. The GEF SGP supports sustainable development actions of NGOs and communities in the areas of climate change, biodiversity, international waters and land degradation, and operates in 124 countries. During programme operation in Lithuania, SGP staff, which currently is DVI staff, has assisted in development and implementation of 104 projects totaling to USD 9.8 million...
