With a passion for exceptional craftsmanship, Dale began his career in construction in 1971 at the Carpenters Union 1622 in Hayward, California. Targets set high, he excelled quickly through the apprentice program finishing a year ahead of his class - the first of many accolades decorating a successful career in the trades. Next at the early age of 26, Dale continued his success by acquiring his State Contractor's License and shortly after opened the doors to D.R.S. Stairs Inc. in San Jose, California. Today, with nearly 50 years of experience in construction and construction management Dale's vast knowledge base has allowed him to stay competitive and thrive in the Bay Area's ever-changing environment. He's grown to believe in not only the art of construction, but also the art of building relationships and how they both can make the community where we live just a little bit better.
Part artist, part tradesman and part mathematician - Kelly is multi-talented and knowledgeable in various trades but specializes in stair systems. He understands that, generally, a staircase is the focal point of a home and entryway that requires very specific design and construction. When it comes to engineering this central part of the building, his unique high level of experience affords our clients timeless stair systems that are enjoyed for decades. Year in and year out, with his consistent ability to deliver quality work and provide a great experience, Kelly truly is an extraordinary tradesman and a pillar here at D.R.S.
Worth her weight in gold, Vicki is one of the most diverse members on the leadership team. Seamlessly managing various projects simultaneously, multi-tasking has become a way of life.
