Darryl Bassett is a retired member of the VA Air National Guard with over 24 yrs. of military service. Mr. Bassett's extensive knowledge of security and force protection measures was gained as a prior active-duty military personnel assigned to US stateside, as well as overseas, during Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom. His knowledge of the security business was acquired working as a contract security officer and instructor assigned to The Department of Homeland Security contracts in Virginia working with the Federal Protective Service. His vast experience and training was also gained while working for the state and local government as a correctional officer for 8 yrs. Currently the President of DSA Security, Darryl Bassett was a former certified Police Officer with the Dept. of Defense, protecting the world's largest naval installation and holds he holds numerous instructor certifications. With over 20 years' experience in security and law enforcement, a strong work ethic and with proper planning Darryl Bassett and DSA Training Academy & Security Services will provide a security plan that will protect you and your company.
