After graduating, Dr. Vaughn moved back home and completed a one year small animal rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in RI. She then fell in love with the Pioneer Valley and moved here to work as an emergency doctor at Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, where she worked for four years before making the shift to general practice. These days, Dr. Vaughn spends her free time running marathons, hiking, cooking, and reading. She lives with her husband Patrick and their "zoo" of 4 dogs (Ariel, Jade, Henna, and Penny) and 4 cats (Bailey, Nike, Bella, and Dharma).
