Cameron Carter

Mr. Carter is responsible for all Technical and Commercial aspects of Dumas' global business portfolio. A 12-year veteran of Dumas, Mr. Carter led the transformational evolution of Dumas' Technical Business Systems to support the "Dumas Difference" with a commitment to client satisfaction. Mr. Carter is a Mining Engineer with extensive underground mining experience. He has held roles in Mine Engineering, Mine Operations, Projects as well as Business and Corporate Development. Mr. Carter is dedicated to creating client-contractor operational efficiencies through effective communication, innovative deployment of emerging technologies and real-time, collaborative end-to-end project management solutions. Prior to joining Dumas, Mr. Carter was a member of the technical team advancing construction of Glencore's Mine "D" project at Kidd Operations in Northern Ontario, developing the world's deepest base metal mine to sustained, safe production of 2.7Mtpa.

Chris Hassel

Mr. Hassel joined Dumas in 2023 as Vice President, Operations, USA with more than 25 years of experience in the mining & construction industries across the United States. As a people-focused leader, he leverages his natural ability to build and foster relationships, both internally and externally, to effectively partner with teams for alignment within the company strategy. Prior to joining Dumas, Mr. Hassel held positions of CEO, COO & President from 2008 to 2021 at Harrison Western, a heavy civil and mining construction company performing underground mining projects across the United States. Mr. Hassel intimately understands the market within the United States, how to develop business across new regions and disciplines, and brings specialized knowledge and experience managing operations within a portfolio of large-scale mining projects. In addition to his extensive hands-on experience, Mr. Hassel's credentials are further enhanced by a bachelor's degree in Government/Political Science from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN. as well as numerous personal development and professional certification programs.

José Luis del Corral

Responsible for leading Dumas´ operations throughout the Americas, Mr. del Corral has over 25 years of experience delivering construction and mining services in Latin America and has been with STRACON for 11 years. Throughout his career he has held several senior roles including asset management, supply chain and multinational operations, including the establishment and leadership of STRACON businesses in new jurisdictions. Mr. del Corral began his trajectory at STRACON as Director of Operations, responsible for managing and supporting project activities. Following a period of international expansion, in 2018 he assumed the role of Vice President International. A civil engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Mr. del Corral attained an MBA from the Management School of the Universidad de Piura in Peru and has undertaken the CEO Latam 2018 Executive Program at Kellogg School of Management.

Lola Prela - CFO

Lola Prela assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at Dumas in September 2023. As CFO, she bears the overarching responsibility for managing the entirety of the company's financial operations, encompassing reporting, strategic planning, treasury management, accounting, and auditing. In addition to these core financial functions, Lola also provides leadership oversight for Information Technology, Human Resources, and Legal department. Her strategic acumen is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future direction. Mrs. Prela's extensive career trajectory boasts a series of senior positions within renowned global mining enterprises, as well as a footprint in the realm of renewable energy. Her professional journey is marked by a commitment to transformative leadership, the formulation of robust corporate strategies, external and management reporting expertise, adept financial planning and analysis and a profound grasp of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) further enhancing her proficiency in the financial domain. With over two decades of hands-on experience, Lola has honed her financial prowess through tenures at organizations such as Falconbridge, Xstrata, Baffinland Iron Mines, DeBeers, and IAMGOLD, ultimately culminating in her current role with Dumas. Mrs. Prela holds the prestigious designation of Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, underscoring her comprehensive understanding of financial principles. Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Administration (BA) degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, with a primary focus on Accounting complemented by a minor in Finance.

Paolo Herrera

Paolo Herrera joined Dumas in 2023 as Vice President, Operations, Mexico with over 19 years of global mining and civil earthworks experience. Hailing from Peru, Colombia, and other international destinations, Mr. Herrera has honed his expertise in leading large-scale contracting organizations and excels as an industrious Civil Project Manager, adeptly managing heavy civil construction projects as well as surface and underground mining endeavors. Mr. Herrera has an impressive track record, he has held pivotal roles that reflect his expertise. He has successfully managed diverse projects, from the mechanized underground gold mining operation in Colombia to overseeing complex heavy civil works in Peru. His ability to navigate challenging projects, ensuring compliance with local engineering guidelines while maintaining cost-effective quality control standards, sets him apart as an industry leader. Prior to joining Dumas, Mr. Herrera served as the Senior Project Manager for the Construction Management of Tailings Dams at the Sabinas Mine in Sombrerete, Zacatecas, México. In this pivotal role, he not only provided corporate support to STRACON in establishing the Mexico branch as part of the regional strategy but also diligently ensures compliance with local regulations and fuels business development. Mr. Herrera holds a degree in Civil Engineering and combines practical experience with a strong academic foundation. This blend of knowledge and hands-on expertise makes Mr. Herrera an invaluable asset to our team, consistently driving excellence in our operations in Mexico and beyond.

Rick Blakey

Mr. Blakey joined Dumas in 2023 as Vice President, Operations, Canada with 30 years of experience in the mining industry across the Americas. He has held operational roles with a mining contractor prior to collecting a progressive portfolio of management and corporate experience with Goldcorp Inc., Newmont Corporation and Pan American Silver Corp. Mr. Blakey has extensive experience in both operating mine management and capital projects. Over the course of his career he has managed a number of producing mines, full teams of technical staff, large scale capital projects within operating mines and continuous improvement initiatives delivering transformational change to numerous operations and projects. Mr. Blakey is recognized as a continuous improvement specialist and has a history of improving mine development programs as well as effectiveness at multiple shaft and raising projects. He is a people leader and recognizes that improvements to any mining activity or function begin with managing and understanding people effectively. Mr. Blakey holds a BASc in Mining Engineering from Michigan Technological University where he attended after completing the Mining Engineering Technology program at the Haileybury School of Mines.

Wayne Mohns - VP

Wayne Mohns, oversees all HSE aspects across Dumas. Mr. Mohns continues championing Dumas' journey to Zero Harm, including our nationally recognized Life Saving Rules across the business and continuously improving our global competitive position as a safety leader in the mining industry. A professional engineer with more than 36 years of experience in mine contracting, operations and mine management, Mr. Mohns held several senior management positions with the Redpath Group, Glencore, Homestake, Barrick, and Teck, prior to joining Dumas. He has varied and fulsome operational and management experience in contracting, mine operations, process improvement, strategic planning, and team building. Mr. Mohns holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen's University, as well as a Civil Technology Qualification from Ryerson University.
