Bengal silk products, especially from the Murshidabad region, the epicenter of the silk trade, were much sought after all over India and abroad. However, a variety of factors led to the decline of Bengal as a major silk producing centre. East End Silks (P) Ltd was set up to revive the silk trade and restore the erstwhile glory of Bengal silk...
