A long-term immersion in Chinese Medicine informs my philosophy of health care. We are all part of the natural world and I view health as a dynamic state of well-being which is constantly changing and evolving. Our body is designed to adjust to the stresses and challenges it encounters, and it is this ability to adjust that determines the state of our health. When our body loses this ability, our health becomes compromised and disease develops... In my practice, I look beyond diagnosis and symptoms to find the cause of an individual's disease state. My priority is to identify the underlying imbalances that produced the symptoms. By identifying the blocks in the body's ability to heal, and then by supporting the body to resolve its challenges, the individual can move back toward health and the ability to self-regulate.
