Led from The Global Development Institute at the University of Manchester, ESID has been a pioneering global partnership. We set out to strengthen the links between Northern and Southern research institutions, making sure that our work was informed by the best in-country knowledge and expertise, and attempting to level an international academic playing field which has so far privileged Northern authors...
