Denis Bourne

Denis is founding partner of Roughly West in the United Kingdom, a consulting company focused on developing systems package solutions for Organizational Transformation. Areas of concentration are: Corporate Strategy Development, Change Management Processes, Desktop Marketing Strategy and Executive Selection and Coaching, Development of Organisational Resilience. Implementation and Creation of Emergent Strategy. Denis's Strategic Partnership with EDI dates back to the 80's, preceding the creation of Roughly West. At the time he was principal in the Marshgate Group and previous assignments included Alfred Herbert as Technical Services Director; Hawker Siddeley as National Manager, Field Operations and several positions with Associated British Foods and Rank Xerox, all in the UK. Denis is an Electrical Engineer from the University of London and lives with his partner in business and life, his wife Judith, in the south of France.

Michele Dunn

Michele Dunn's design and instruction repertoire includes seminars on management, leadership, negotiations, and influence. Her approach includes a strong emphasis on developing individual skills and knowledge in business, interpersonal communication and teamwork. Michele has also had considerable experience in the design of executive education courses on business planning, strategy, finance and marketing. She is a certified instructor for Situation Management Systems, Inc., The Forum Corporation and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Before launching her own consulting business, Michele had a successful career as a manager in large global corporations. As a Program Manager of Advanced Training Programs at SCM, she was responsible for the design and implementation of marketing, financial and executive education programs, while holding positions as the Training and Development Representative for the Organic Chemicals Division and the Corporate Marketing and Financial Advisory Committees. At Time Magazine, Michele was Subscriber Billing Manager, responsible for direct mail marketing, collection agency management and financial performance. At TimeWarner, she was also Cataloguing Manager in Time's legendary Picture Library, responsible for a staff who researched and distributed news and historical photographs to Time Warner publications and media customers. Michele has an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and an AA from Marymount College in Arlington, Virginia. She lives with her children in Wilton, Connecticut, USA.

Michelle Dunn

Michelle Dunn is an international consultant specializing in custom program design and instruction in leadership and management. Her corporate clients include GE, Mobil Oil, Union Carbide, Pepsico, Merck, TimeWarner, SCM, and the US Government. Her experience is extensive in the US, Europe, Asia and Central America. She has been part of the EDI Network since the mid nineties. At GE, Michele has been a member of Crotonville's executive education faculty since 1985. She has been involved with WORKOUT and the Change Acceleration initiatives and has designed and instructed in the Experienced Manager Course, New Manager Development Course, Leadership Essentials, Corporate Entry Leadership Courses I and II and the Professional Development Course. She has been a case writer for the Management Development Course and conducted customized sessions for most GE businesses including Aircraft Engines, Power Systems, Information Systems, Industrial Systems, Appliances, Plastics, Corporate Medical Services and the Corporate Audit Staff.

Paul Wiegand

Mr. Wiegand is a principal and founder of Wiegand & Company, Ltd., a Virginia-based performance management corporation. The company provides consulting services, customized training programs, and computer-based interactive reinforcement products to assist clients in planning, implementing, and monitoring their Leadership, Sales, Client Relationship, and Ethics Training Requirements. Wiegand & Company, Ltd. was founded in 1984. He has been a part of the EDI network since 1999. Before founding Wiegand & Company, Ltd., Mr. Wiegand was a Vice President of Humanics, Inc. Prior to Humanics, Inc., Mr. Wiegand's background includes four-teen years with the Xerox Corporation holding such positions as Sales Representative, Sales Instructor, Training Manager, Sales Manager, and Manager of International Training Evaluation. From 1979 to 1980, Mr. Wiegand served as a Xerox Corporation Consultant to the White House. While there he developed a Performance Appraisal Administration Program for all exempt and non-exempt administrative employees of the White House.

Saúl Ballén

Mr. Ballén is an organizational development consultant with emphasis on process management, quality, customer services and human resources. He has worked more than 25 years as a first level executive in multinational organizations. His areas of expertise are developing and managing strategies in Human Resources, Marketing & Sales, Total Quality Management and customer satisfaction. Mr. Ballén was General Manager in Lanier Colombia, and Vice President of Human Resources, Quality and Customer Satisfaction and Marketing & Commercial in Xerox Colombia. He worked as quality and customer satisfaction in Xerox Latin American Group based in Stamford, CT. In his association with EDI he represented the Rummler Brache Group in Colombia. With the EDI network he has also undertaken assignments in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina, since 1996. He teaches quality and service management at two universities in Bogotá: CESA University and University of La Sabana. Mr. Ballén has a BA in Business and works in English and Spanish. He lives with his wife and children in Bogotá, Colombia.

Shirlene Ribeiro

Shirlene has been working for the last 20 years as consultant and manager of Human Resources in small, medium size and large organizations in Brazil. As consultant part of the EDI network for the last 10 yeas, she has worked for Mercedes-Benz, the Bank of the Northeast of Brazil, IBM Portugal, Construtora Andrade Gutierrez and GE Dako. She has also consulted for ACESITA and CEFET in Brazil. Her corporate experience includes ICAL (Plaster Factory of Brazil) and FIAT as human resources manager, and Petrobras (Petroleos -Oil- do Brazil) in the commercial and sales area. Shirlene is a professor in organizational development graduate courses on business administration (covering subjects ranging from team development to leadership development), training, specifically in the area of quality, and organizational psychology. She has a BS in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Educational Technology with emphasis on Human Resources management. Shirlene lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, with her husband and son.
