Derek Brown joined Eisenberg Law Offices as an attorney in September, 2019. Previously, he worked for one year as a staff attorney for four Dane County Circuit Court judges.
Derek earned his B.S. in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015. During his time at UWO, Derek worked as a teaching assistant, a research assistant, and a tutor. Derek also received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence and the best student paper award at the Midwestern Criminal Justice Association Conference. Derek graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2018. During his time at UW, Derek had the opportunity to work for the Wisconsin Innocence Project and as a legislative aide for Representative Terese Berceau.

Donald S. Eisenberg is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. For over thirty years, he was a prominent civil and criminal trial attorney in Madison, Wisconsin.
Mr. Eisenberg is now of counsel with Eisenberg Law Offices, S.C. He still practices law on a part-time basis, and he just celebrated the 50th anniversary of his admission to the bar.
In addition, Mr. Eisenberg is a former director of the National Association of Professional Process Servers. He frequently writes articles and teaches CLE seminars about a wide variety of legal topics.
Jack S. Lindberg joined Eisenberg Law Offices as an attorney in August 2011. Previously, he worked at Eisenberg Law Offices as a law clerk.
Jack grew up in Huntley, Illinois before moving to Northfield, Minnesota, where he attended high school. He then earned his B.A. from Carleton College, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2008. After college, he moved to Madison to attend law school. He graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2011. Besides working at ELO, Jack also had the opportunity to serve as an intern at both the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Wisconsin District IV Court of Appeals during law school. He worked as a volunteer as well, and received the Pro Bono Partnership Award from the University of Wisconsin Law School for his efforts in 2010.
Jack's practice at ELO encompasses both criminal law and civil litigation. He has experience working with personal injury suits, contractual disputes, administrative claims and procedures, as well as a variety of both felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. His practice also includes appellate advocacy, and he has argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Jack enjoys reading, cooking, and pheasant hunting in his spare time. He is an avid fan of Robert Caro, Arsenal Football Club, and against his better judgment, the Minnesota Vikings.

Mark's education began with receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin. He earned his law degree from DePaul University in Chicago and returned to Wisconsin. After starting his practice, Mark earned a reputation as one of Madison's Best Lawyers.
Mark has lived in Wisconsin most of his life. He spent six years in Illinois, where he was a high school Speech teacher and basketball coach prior to going to law school. He still remains active in that area. Mark was certified by the National Football League Players Association to represent players in the National Football League from 2008 to 2014.

Melissa Ratcliff has been a Paralegal with Eisenberg Law Offices since 2000. She assists the attorneys with personal injury and criminal cases.
Melissa earned her Paralegal Certificate from Madison Area Technical College and has worked for Eisenberg Law Offices since that time.
Melissa is a member and Newsletter Editor for the Madison Area Paralegal Association (MAPA).
Melissa is also an elected official and serves on the Village Board as a Trustee for the Village of Cottage Grove. She is also a Dane County Board Supervisor for District 36.
