ECPrinting is frequently asked what the difference is between us as standard book printers, and a print on demand publisher. We specialize in book printing, manufacturing and design of self published books for independent and small press publishers. Most print on demand companies are generally not book printers. They typically act as brokers and prepare your book project for a book printer and charge you a "package" price to make your books available for sale. A POD publisher will also make your book available to a number of wholesalers and distributors but usually won't market your book to book stores or any retail outlet.
