J Scot Vann

Mr. J Scot Vann, P.E., is President and CEO of Edge Engineering and Science, LLC (EDGE) and has been working as a consultant in the environmental engineering field since 1996. Scot drives EDGE's growth and success via strategic organizational planning, coordination between practice areas, resource acquisition and allocation, and client satisfaction. Throughout his career as a consultant, Scot has focused on excellence in air quality permitting and compliance services. His specialties include managing air permitting projects, compiling emissions estimates, auditing environmental compliance and management systems, facilitating emission credit banking and trading, conducting environmental compliance assessments, evaluating control technologies, developing and implementing environmental management information systems, performing regulatory analyses and applicability assessments, and conducting air dispersion modeling evaluations. Scot's extensive experience includes serving clients, located throughout the U.S. and internationally, in the oil and gas, chemical, energy, electric utility, manufacturing, waste management and shipbuilding industries. Scot holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station.

Mr. Casey Swecker

Mr. Casey Swecker is a Partner at Edge Engineering and Science, LLC (EDGE) where he leads the Protected Species Practice. Casey has been working in the environmental field since 2001, focusing primarily on issues associated with impacts to rare, threatened, and endangered species. His specialty is aquatics where he is considered a subject matter expert by both federal and state agencies for his work with freshwater mussels, crayfishes, and ichthyofauna, but he also possesses significant expertise with endangered and threatened birds, bats, small mammals, herpetofauna, plants, macroinvertebrates, and terrestrial insects including beetles, bees, millipedes, and butterflies. Much of his consulting career has focused on Endangered Species Act (ESA) compliance in support of federal and state permitting and NEPA assessments for large, complex energy projects where he has led formal and informal consultation, development of Biological Assessments (BA), negotiated and implemented mitigation plans for impacts to protected species, and developed and implemented long-term monitoring programs. Mr. Swecker has also worked directly with the USFWS and other state natural resource agencies to evaluate listing criteria and proposed species rankings, develop new and modify existing sampling protocols for aquatic species, organize workshops and proctor species exams for other consultants, and prepare large federal grant applications to secure funding that resulted in purchase of lands, established conservation funds, and created preserves that protect species and their habitat. Casey's private-sector clients operate within the renewables, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric; oil and gas; chemical; electric; and manufacturing industries. He also has substantial experience on the government side supporting projects for the Department of Transportation in numerous states, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as other federal and state government agencies. Casey holds a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mr. Christopher J. Colville

Mr. Christopher J. Colville, P.E., is a Partner at Edge Engineering and Science, LLC (EDGE) and directs the Industrial Services Division, which includes the Air Quality Services and Investigation/Remediation Practices. Since 2000 when he joined the environmental field, Chris has consulted with both private and public-sector clients to optimize air quality and multimedia regulatory permitting and compliance strategies. Chris specializes in managing air permitting projects, performing air quality dispersion modeling evaluations, conducting air quality research, managing optical remote sensing emission measurement studies and providing technical expertise in support of litigation. Chris serves private-sector clients located throughout the U.S. in the oil and gas, chemical, manufacturing, aggregates and petroleum refining industries, as well as public-sector state regulatory agencies. Mr. H. Trevor Loveday is a Partner at Edge Engineering and Science, LLC (EDGE), and Natural Resources Division Director. Trevor has been working in the environmental field since 1996. During Trevor's career, he has focused on providing high quality consulting services supporting NEPA assessments and natural resources permitting. Trevor has specialized in providing environmental expertise to oil and gas and energy projects, including managing environmental permitting, managing and developing third-party environmental impact statements and environmental assessments, developing and managing applicant-prepared environmental assessments, and managing construction monitoring programs. Trevor's private-sector clients, located throughout the U.S. and internationally, operate within the oil and gas (including LNG), chemical, energy and electric utility industries. He has conducted third- party reviews for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Coast Guard. Trevor holds a Master of Science in Aquatic Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Ms. Robin Mann

Ms. Robin Mann, P.G., is a Partner at Edge Engineering and Science, LLC (EDGE) and directs the Compliance and Liabilities Management Practice. Robin has been working in the environmental field since 1996. Robin's emphasis has been environmental due diligence, soil and groundwater investigation, remediation, compliance, and litigation support. Robin specializes in large-scale acquisitions from initial due diligence through compliance integration to manage clients' environmental liabilities. Robin's clients have included oil and gas producers and transporters, pipeline companies, chemical and food manufacturers, concrete batch facilities, aviation crash sites, foundries, wood treating facilities, and many more. Robin holds a Master of Science in Geology from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
