Lyel Sr - CEO, Founder
Lyel Jr. attended UNLV on a swimming scholarship before joining EESI in 1994 in sales. He provided customer and trade show support, made sales calls, and demo'ed our various RF and Fiber Optic products. He also was instrumental in the contract assembly work EESI provided prior to 2006.
From 2006 to 2010 Lyel Jr. worked for AOS, Inc. in engineering support and logistics. He rejoined EESI in 2010 and was appointed President in 2015. He is currently responsible for domestic and international order processing, shipping, and technical customer support.
Outside EESI, Lyel's interests are in sports and outdoor activities.
Lyel Sr. is the founder and CEO of EESI. He holds a BSEE degree from Purdue University and is a Texas Registered Professional Engineer (Inactive).
Lyel has sixteen years experience in electronic design and test in the telecommunications industry at Rockwell International, formerly Collins Radio Company.
After leaving Rockwell International in 1981, Lyel has worked in sales for over 34 years both direct and as a manufacturer's representative. During that time, most of his sales experience has been in fiber optic, RF, cellular, and microwave test instrumentation.
Lyel Sr. is currently responsible for all the Company IT functions.
Lyel has been a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and Texas Society of Professional Engineers. He is a Life Member of the IEEE and holds the Advanced Class Amateur Radio Operator license W50IZ..
