Ekorosk was the first waste company in Finland to be given overall responsibility for waste management in its area of operations. Ab Ekorosk Oy is a municipally owned waste management company founded in 1990, which provides waste management services for its member municipalities... Ekorosk operates in 10 municipalities and serves 124,000 inhabitants. Evijärvi, Kauhava, Kaustinen, Kokkola, Kronoby, Larsmo, Pedersöre, Jakobstad, Nykarleby and Veteli belong to the operations area. The Group has sales of approximately EUR 14 million. The centre of operations is Pirilö waste centre in Jakobstad.
