Environment Erie is committed to the sustainability of our community's natural resources through restoration, revitalization, and education... Environment Erie is a local non-profit 501c 3 organization that offers support to the community through various programs. These programs include youth education in our schools, public education through workshops, revitalization programs with businesses and neighborhoods, and restoration programs on our streams. Currently, Environment Erie is managing over one million dollars in projects... In 2014, Environment Erie worked with over 3,500 youth through both in-school programs and activities at the Tom Ridge Center. For 2015 our goal is to work with more than 4,000 youth. Youth participate in our "Earth Action" program that includes the development of a service-learning project.
