ENDOREAD

EndoRead was founded and is guided by Blair Lewis. He is one of the world's experts in field of gastrointestinal endoscopy and is considered to be the father of capsule endoscopy. He was the primary investigator for the first clinical trial of capsule endoscopy for the small intestine and was also the primary investigator for the first clinical trial for the colon capsule. He has taught courses on capsule endoscopy including advanced courses both nationally and internationally. He has chaired the International Conference of Capsule Endoscopy on many occasions and helped coordinate the Consensus Conference statements to guide capsule usage throughout the world. Dr. Lewis is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he teaches fellows in gastroenterology how to read capsule endoscopies.
