Diego M. Bernal

Diego Bernal is a lifelong advocate for Texas families and brings unique experience and perspective to the firm. He was born in South Texas and raised in San Antonio. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, he attended the University of Michigan, where he earned his undergraduate degree, Master's in Social Work, and law degree. After law school, he returned to San Antonio permanently as a civil rights attorney for the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), representing working people, children, and public schools. He continued those efforts in private practice before joining Espronceda Law in 2023. In addition to his work as an attorney, Diego also serves the community through elected office. In June 2011, Diego was elected to the San Antonio City Council representing District 1. He was then elected to the Texas House of Representatives in February 2015, representing Texas House District 123.

Dora Gomez-Garza

Dora Gomez-Garza joined our team in 2021 as our esteemed Senior Paralegal, bringing with her a wealth of experience accumulated over 20 years while working in the family law field. In 2017, Dora earned her Paralegal Certificate, followed by her associate degree in Paralegal Studies in 2018 from the Center of Advanced Legal Studies in Houston, Texas. Currently, Dora is actively pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, which is slated for completion in 2025. Beyond her professional achievements, Dora is an avid home baker. Dora cherishes the moments spent with her loving family, especially with her four beloved grandchildren.

Mark A. Cevallos

Mark A. Cevallos is a highly accomplished attorney with deep roots in San Antonio. Born and raised in this vibrant city, Mark possesses a genuine understanding of the local community and its legal landscape. In 1999, Mark obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wabash College, setting the foundation for a successful legal career. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2002, solidifying his commitment to the pursuit of justice. Licensed in the State of Texas and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Mark has honed his expertise across a wide spectrum of practice areas. Throughout his career, Mark has litigated more than 30 jury trials ranging from traffic tickets to Federal wire fraud. Mark's diverse trial experience includes cases involving personal injury, workers' compensation, defamation, deceptive trade practices, premises liability, business disputes, real estate matters, contract disputes, and custody disputes.
