April's work blends staff functionality with factors such as the careful use of color, texture, and materials as well as space planning that creates a pleasant environment for all users. April brings the goals of the client to the forefront. April's abilities to connect with the clients and effectively communicate with them to understand and address their needs stems from her previous teaching experience. She was formerly an Instructor of Interior Design at Antonelli College, where she was hired for her commercial design experience. Being in front of the classroom honed April's communication and adaptability - skills she is today able to offer her clients. April is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and has a certificate in Historic Preservation. Bryan received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1997 from the University of Cincinnati after working as an intern architect for Earl Swensson Associates in Nashville, Tennessee; Kann & Associates in Baltimore, Maryland; Kohn Pedersen Fox International in London, England; and Lehman, Smith, Wiseman in Washington D.C. After graduation, he joined Kann and Associates, in Baltimore, to work on various retail projects. Technically adept, Bryan has fulfilled and exceeded client expectations for numerous clients across several market sectors, including higher education and workplace. This experience with various project types and teams gives him an insightful advantage to managing a systematic project approach. Bryan approaches every project by first analyzing its unique aspects and needs and then throughout the entire cycle of design, development, documentation, and construction. He focuses on problem-solving and executing exceptional designs. His knowledge of building systems, design, construction and client and partnering relationships is what makes him an asset to any project. Bryan is known for his responsiveness and prides himself on the ability to provide excellent project support for his clients. He oversees his design teams with a sense of openness, making his clients and consultants feel comfortable while fostering a healthy work environment for all. Bryan is a graduate of the AIA Greater Cincinnati Vision - Architect's Leadership Forum for Emerging Architects, and is currently a class member of Leadership Dayton. Outside of the office, Bryan enjoys hunting, fishing, and providing support to his kids as a Lebanon Youth Baseball and Fastpitch Softball Coach. Since joining Champlin | EOP in 1998, Chris's efforts have been focused on ensuring that the firm's design commitment is executed appropriately with respect to the built environment to serve our clients. His client base during his tenure with the firm is widely diversified and includes project types for corporate workplaces, hospitality, commercial, education, healthcare, retail, and others. Chris has created interior environments for the award-winning Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Office Building, KCTCS Administrative Offices, the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts Emergency Renovations and the Louisville headquarters of ORi among many others. Those are the same words that we use to describe what you can expect when you work with David. David, who runs the day-to-day operations in our Dayton office, has been specializing in healthcare design for more than 30 years and his clients describe him as reliable, focused, and efficient. He has designed and managed a variety of projects, ranging from small renovations to new patient tower developments. His experience in leading projects from land acquisition to construction has earned his projects recognition in the Dayton community. An outdoorsman at heart, Jeff is the Mountain Bike Trail Steward/Liaison to Caesar Creek State Park on behalf of the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance. In his volunteer role with CORA, he is responsible for communication with the US Army Corps of Engineers and Ohio Department of Natural Resources officers at Caesar Creek. More recently Jeff led a two-year effort to plan, coordinate and build three miles of new trail at Caesar Creek near the Campground for beginner riders, young and old. Kristie is a former adjunct professor of Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati. He is most passionate about solving complex geometric problems that require creative solutions. This often requires exploring form through the use of a variety of computer modeling and visualization software. Mark has served in many roles on a broad range of projects including as Project Manager for the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Cancer Center, the University of Dayton Roger Glass Center for the Arts, Bon Secours Mercy Health Harbour View Hospital Expansion the University of Cincinnati, Washington University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Mark had also been the lead designer for several projects including: the West Chester Public Library, multiple MidPointe Library projects, the University of Cincinnati Progress Hall, and Cooper Condominiums to name a few. Originally from Midland, Michigan, Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Sustainability and a Bachelor of Science in Facility Management from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. While attending Ferris State University, Melanie was awarded the William J Clinton Scholarship where she had the opportunity to study abroad in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She has also participated in construction in Juarez, Mexico, and worked on a maintenance staff at a resort in Florida. Melanie hopes to contribute to the industry by creating something that corroborates and improves the lifestyles of a community in need. Her visualization and having a wide spectrum of inspiration and experience allows her to understand perspectives and create the best possible solution for a design problem. As the leader of all marketing, communications, and public relations in the firm, Melissa is responsible for the brand and image of Champlin | EOP. Melissa manages and develops targeted business development and marketing strategies with each market team to create unique opportunities for the firm. If that wasn't enough to keep her busy, Melissa is also an active and current member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Priya strives to maintain client objectives throughout the design process through her attention to detail and close collaboration with the design teams. Priya also uses her design and construction experience to create contemporary design solutions for home remodeling projects with a hands-on approach, a passion she shares with her husband. Priya isn't all work though; she enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, experimenting with new cuisines, and watching sports. His 30-year career has been focused on providing planning, design, and development services for various clients including those in the higher education, workplace, healthcare, civic & cultural, and worship market sectors. Sean also leads planning and design services for two Fortune 500+ energy service providers which has resulted in projects located in nearly 70 Indiana communities. He routinely conducts feasibility and assessment studies for Champlin | EOP clients prior to land purchase or renovations. He has also developed superior project delivery and team management skills and has proven to be an invaluable resource for clients through his utilization of a servant leadership approach and philosophy. Sean serves as Co-Chair of the Outreach Committee for Indiana Construction Roundtable and volunteers regularly for local non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity and Gleaners Food Bank. He is also a member of the Society of College & University Planning (SCUP) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Sean currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his wife and two sons. Tracy focuses on design for workplace projects and clients. In her role at Champlin | EOP, Tracy's expertise is in conceptualizing client needs into a creative space plan, incorporating design details such as furniture and finishes which carry the client's brand through the interior design of their space. Fortunately for us, Tracy's passion for wellness extends beyond her work. Tracy helps organize wellness activities throughout the office, specifically planning the American Heart Association's Mini Heart Team for the entire Champlin | EOP office. She is also very active with the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub, helping to mitigate the effects of climate change and landfill diversion rates in the Cincinnati area! And of course, when she's not playing soccer, softball, volleyball or running, this interior designer enjoys finding time to work on her house. Good luck keeping up with her!
