Deidre Janelle Ammah, MD is board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Ammah received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed an internship in internal medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
She completed her residency in Neurology and fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology EMG/Neuromuscular track at University of Maryland Medical Center.
Dr. Ammah performs and interprets electromyography and nerve conduction studies which are used to diagnose muscle and nerve disorders. These include myopathies, generalized neuropathies, radiculopathies, and nerve entrapment syndromes .
