Adam also worked for Mercer Belanger PC, where he primarily represented lending institutions in real estate, commercial, and creditor's rights litigation throughout state and federal courts in Indiana.

Alan Sheppard's love of law dates back prior to World War II. He began his career as a secretary in a prominent law firm here in Pensacola. It was there that he began his study of the law under an attorney preceptor. In 1942 his studies were interrupted by a tour of duty with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Alexander "Ander" Shimek joined Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon in September 2022 as an associate attorney and works with our Personal Injury Law Group. Ander received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University in 2019 and his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law. Ander began working with us as an accounting intern after receiving his bachelor's degree and then worked two consecutive summers as a law clerk, with his second clerkship working specifically with the personal injury team.

Throughout law school, Rachel received the Fall 2016 Book Award for Trial Practice and the Fall 2017 Book Award for International Commercial Arbitration and Moot.
