Since the autonomy by the University Act, TU Wien is managed by the Rectorate, the University Council and the Senate. The Rectorate leads TU Wien and represents it externally. It consists of the Rector and four Vice-Rectors. The University Council is the highest supervisory body of TU Wien and consists of seven members.
