ETSI - Key Persons
Andrea graduated in 1998 in Electronic Engineer, University of Pisa (Italy). He joined ETSI in January 2009 as Technical Officer. Prior to this, he worked in Ericsson (Italy and Sweden), where he was responsible for European Projects as System Architect and Work Package Leader. From 1998 to 1999 he worked as a researcher at the University of Pisa. He is co-author of many papers.
Antoine is originally from the Parisian region. He has an engineer's degree in Automation, Electronics and Technical software from Telecom Physique school in Strasbourg. Later completed by an Advanced Master in Strategy and Management of International Business (SMIB) at ESSEC Paris. Antoine started his career as a software engineer in different software services company. In the 2000s, he held different technical positions, including Standards officer, first at CANAL+ Technologies, the digital TV solutions provider, then at NAGRA, the world leader in security solutions for digital TV. Prior to working in ETSI, Antoine was a System Architect at Thales.
I hail from northern France. I graduated from Polytech Nice Sophia in 2018 with a master's degree in Telecommunications and Network Engineering.
Bernt joined the ETSI Secretariat in 2000 and has worked as a Technical Officer for various ETSI Technical Committees. Prior to joining ETSI he was working as a software designer in Ericsson covering both fixed and mobile network environments.
Currently he supports the following ETSI Technical Committees: SES, TCCE and ERM TG DMR. Furthermore he also provides support to the 3GPP working group SA6.
Bernt is a MSc graduate from the Åbo Akademi University in Finland. In addition he has got a vocational upper secondary education as software analyst.
He obtained a Master Degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering in Italy, followed by a Ph.D. in Radio Communications in the United Kingdom.
His professional background in the United Kingdom includes experience in the private sector for Nortel Networks as Data Communications Network Engineer, and over five years' experience in the international organization ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts), working in an operational environment for the management of IT projects, services and security.
He has gained, and actively maintains, several professional certifications covering broad aspects of technical security and security management, as well as project management, change management, IT audit, control, and service management.
The current expert, Dinesh Chand Sharma, is based in the European Business and Technology Centre in New Delhi. He acts as a bridge-builder between the European and Indian standardization communities.

Carmine Rizzo has worked in the ETSI Secretariat in France since November 2007. He is the point of reference for security standardization activities and responsible for the supervision, coordination and promotion of ETSI security standardization work within and across various Technical Committees and Working Groups.
