Dave started his construction career by entering the Boilermaker apprenticeship. Having completed that apprenticeship, he was able to excel in all disciplines of welding. Seeing the future of coal fired power plants diminishing, David went back to school and became an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector. During this time he studied and passed qualifying tests in four disciplines of non-destructive testing. Upon completion of that, he went on to work for Poma of America (Ski lift Manufacturer) as a Quality Control Manager for ten years. He then moved on to various Project Management assignments and worked on projects from structural steel erection to helping facilitate the funding and building of the largest indoor sports facility in the country. After that project a major career change took place and he became involved in the world of helicopters and took on the Sales and Marketing for three of the largest helicopter companies in the world. In that capacity he provided helicopters for the oil and gas, department of defense, search and rescue, wild land fires and mining industries. Due to the current status of the oil industry, this sector has greatly diminished and he has once again taken on a new challenge in the commercial cladding industry. He and his wife now live in Boise, Idaho and are providing quality building envelope products throughout Idaho and Montana.
