Exten, Inc., manufacturers of high quality, made-in-the USA security fasteners and specialized tools for use on wheel studs, hubs and axles, was founded in 1983 by Edward Swertz and Richard Swanson. In 1984 the company moved into its present facility in Buffalo, NY and is currently in the process of expanding the building and updating the facilities... Our line of specialized tools includes stud installers and tools for removing broken studs, nuts and valve stems. We also produce tools for working on truck axles to aid in the removal of king pin caps, clearing of the king pin cap threads and removing and replacing axle bushings.
