Angela Mestishen Regnier

Angela M. Mestishen -Regnier was born and raised in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. She attended St. Clair Area Schools and graduated from Pottsville Area High School. She graduated from Northampton Community College in 1995 with an Associate's Degree in Funeral Service Education. Prior to becoming licensed she completed her internship and then continued to provide her professional services to families within Schuylkill County. Most recently, Angela relocated to the Wildwood area to share her skill and professionalism with the community through Evoy Funeral Home. Angela is the proud mother of two sons and a daughter and now attend St. Anne's Church in Wildwood. From afar, she, along with her children are members of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia. She continues to be a member of the Pottsville Business Association where she served as Vice President. She also served as a Chairman for the Pottsville Business Association's Oktoberfest and is a member of the St. Clair Women's Club and the Schuylkill Heath Auxiliary. Before coming to Evoy Funeral Home in 2022, Angela has been affiliated with the James H. Evans Funeral Home from 1995 to 2013, then Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home from September 2013 to June 2022. She is dedicated to providing quality and professional services that are both dignified and serve as a tribute for the deceased and their family.

Carol Macaluso

Carol Macaluso, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 19 with family by her side. Born August 26, 1951 in Queens NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Davidovich) Kijek. Carol married the love of her life, Richard J. Macaluso on October 9, 1971. The two celebrated 52 years of marriage. They resided in Randolph NJ, Shrewsbury VT, San Marcos CA, and finally moved to Cape May Court House where they have resided for the last four years. Carol volunteered her time and talents for many organizations, including Habitat for Humanity of Cape May Court House. An avid gardener, she was a member of the Little Garden Club of Atlantic City and previously the Rutland County Master Gardeners. She also enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Cape May County Quilters Guild and South Shore Stitchers. Carol also enjoyed playing tennis, devouring books, and completing crossword puzzles. She founded her own book club, the Beach Babes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Kijek, Jr. Carol will forever be missed by her husband Richard; her three children Laura Macaluso Schultz and husband Kevin W. Schultz, Marie Glennon and husband Ray A. Glennon III, and Luis J. Macaluso and wife Amanda; and her two grandchildren Caroline Frances Schultz and Valentina Elena Macaluso. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Friday, February 23rd from 1:30PM until the time of service at 2:30PM at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May NJ. Paul Loveland

Paul Loveland, Jr. purchased the funeral home from Jack Langley in 1988. From Point Pleasant, Paul completed an A.A. degree from Ocean County College in 1971, Accounting degree from Stockton University in 1973, and after needing a career change completed his mortuary science degree from McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, New York, in 1977. In 1988, he acquired Langley Funeral Home in Tuckahoe, NJ from the Langley family, and became the Langley-Loveland Funeral Home. Paul and his wife of over 49 years, Virginia (Ginny) have 2 children, Paul III and Ashley. Paul Loveland, III started work in the funeral industry during his high school years under his father and other area funeral homes. Paul went on to complete his mortuary science degree at Mercer County College in 2000 and came to work for the family business after working several years at other local funeral homes. Spearheading many family-business ventures, Paul saw the opportunity to expand and acquired Evoy Funeral Homes, a funeral home he has worked at for 10 years prior, in December 2021. Paul is happily married to Tammy, who also helps manage the family businesses, and together they have their children Allison (husband Nick and daughter Paisley), Carli, Kate, Eric and Erin.

Richard M. Rader

Richard received his Associates degree in Business Management in 1978 from Camden County College, Blackwood, and a degree in Mortuary Science in 1981 from Mercer County College. Licensed in New Jersey in 1981 and Pennsylvania in 1987, he joined the Evoy firm in 1982 becoming manager and partner with Wyn Evoy in 1998. He received his New Jersey Life Insurance Producers License in 1988 to specialize in pre-need funeral planning. Richard purchased the funeral home along with Wes Kline as partner in 2009. Together they continued the business until turning over operations to the Loveland Family in December of 2021. Richard has been married to his wife Teresa since 1985 and have one son Richard Jr. (April), one daughter Angela (Michael) Rodenbaugh, and grand-daughter Lucy. He has been active in the community in various associations and activities in Lower Township for over 40 years.

Timothy James Shriver, Sr.

Timothy James Shriver, Sr., 66, passed away on February 11, 2024 at Atlanticare-Mainland Division. Timothy was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and was a resident in Cape May County for over 40 years. He was a graduate of Father Judge H.S. in Philadelphia and after moving to Cape May County he worked for Cape Island Foods and was a bartender at The Villas Fishing Club. Timothy was a very giving person who volunteered his time and helped out at local youth sports leagues. He was a significant influence on those he coached especially those at the Lower Cape May Hockey League. Tim loved to fish on boats, grilling and eating out, antique cars and was an over-the-top avid Eagles and Flyers fan. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews Jake, Laura, Aidan and Reid. Tim was a member of The Greater Cape May Elks, Stella Maris Home Association, Villas VFW and Villas Fishing Club. He is predeceased by his father, Richard. Tim is survived by his son Timothy J. Shriver, Jr., his mother Dolores Shriver, his siblings Richie (Beth), Kenny, Billy, and Chrissy (Lisa), his devoted girlfriend of 3 years Anne Marie McCullough and many other nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Villas Fishing Club with the visitation from 11-12 and the service at 12noon. Wesley D. Kline

Wesley was licensed in Pennsylvania in 1976, and in New Jersey in 2000. He joined Evoy Funeral Homes on a full-time basis in 2000. In September 2009, he became part owner of the funeral home until December 2021 and is now semi-retired. Wes is married to Cynthia and they have a daughter Zammeny.

William B. Evoy

William B. Evoy, son of Martin Albert and grandson of Martin, joined the firm in 1933. He moved the original parlor to 3140 North Broad Street. After the passing of the two elder Evoy's and due to a growing clientele who appreciated the courteous, efficient, reasonable service provided, William built the present Georgian colonial style funeral home at 129 White Horse Pike in Haddon Heights, in 1949. Wyn W.A. Evoy son of William B. Evoy joined the funeral home in 1965 William B. Evoy along with his son Wyn W. A. Evoy established the current Evoy Funeral Home at 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May in 1967 and also established as part of the funeral home The Cape May County Crematory in 1974. After 71 years of dedicated service to the Haddon Heights and surrounding communities, in the mid 1970's the Haddon Heights location was sold to focus on serving the growing year round community in Cape May County. In September of 2009, Wyn W. A. Evoy semi-retired and the funeral home ownership was transferred to long-time employee and manager Richard M. Rader and Wesley Kline. The ownership was again transferred in December 2021 to Paul Loveland Jr. and long-time interim employee Paul Loveland III, who have owned and operated Langley-Loveland Funeral Home in Tuckahoe since 1988. They along with their highly experienced staff will continue the same compassionate and dignified service the Evoy family has given the local surrounding communities over many years.
