Darren E. Malone

Dr. Darren Malone is a native of Cherokee, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduated Cum Laude. He attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine and was awarded the Sarah F. Davis Award for the best all-around medical student. Dr. Malone completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Jones Eye Institute in Arkansas. Dr. Malone is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 2011.

P. Adam Frederick

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Dr. Frederick joined The Eye Center Surgeons and Associates as of August 2016, as the newest Ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and anterior segment surgery, as well as general ophthalmology. Dr. Frederick is a native of Huntsville, Alabama. He attended Birmingham-Southern College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He then went on to medical school at UAB. Dr. Frederick completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Utah's Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Frederick has quickly established a presence in Huntsville, Alabama performing cataract surgery, complex corneal disease treatment and comprehensive ophthalmology care to the community of North Alabama and surrounding areas.

R. Keith Stevens

Dr. Stevens is a native of California. He graduated with highest honors from U.C.L.A. School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Following completion of an ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan, he completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the Jules Stein Eye Institute/U.C.L.A. School of Medicine. Dr. Stevens is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1996.

Robert C. Foster

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Ophthalmologist
Dr. Foster is a native of Decatur, Alabama and graduated from Mississippi State University and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Foster serves North Alabama as a comprehensive ophthalmologist and treats a wide variety of eye conditions. His areas of specialization include cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and eyelid surgery.
