The beginnings of Federal Auto Holdings Berhad (FAHB) go back to the year 1960 when Federal Auto Co. Ltd. was founded in Penang by four businessmen. The first car brand handled by the company was Volvo, a brand which it would become synonymous with in the years that followed... Federal Auto Cars Sdn Bhd is one of the oldest car companies established in Malaysia. We started business in 1960 as the first distributor of Volvo cars and maintained this role until 1999 when Volvo Car Corporation established Volvo Car Malaysia as its own subsidiary to manage sales and marketing.
