Farden Construction's history started with Ole Farden being the first man drafted from Maxbass for World Ward I. He sold his livery business before leaving for the war and drove an ammunition truck from Hoboken, New Jersey onto a ship to travel across the Atlantic Ocean. During the war he drove the ammunition truck to the front lines of the war.
