FAR HILLS STUD

Far Hills is a small family orientated stud farm focusing on top quality competition horses with colour, level headed enough to be valued equine companions for the whole family to enjoy. It was founded in 2001 in Durbanville, Western Cape when our first mare surprised us with a spectacular bay colt, standing under our umbrella shaped fig tree to get him out of the rain. It was the most amazing sight that will stay with us forever… The rest is, as they say, history! Once the breeding bug has taken its hold there is no turning back! We started out with a small band of boerperd cross mares, with outstanding temperaments, conformation and movement putting them to, Lusitano, Friesian and Warmblood stallions to complement each mare and produce quality sport horse foals.
