Jeff is ordained as a minister of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., and for 15 years served congregations in Ohio, Georgia, Virginia and New Jersey. Prior to joining FCD, Jeff worked for a fundraising company specializing in strategic planning and professional fundraising services for church stewardship and capital campaigns. Jeff worked with churches of differing denominations throughout Michigan, California, Washington, Wisconsin, Ohio, Connecticut, New Jersey, South Carolina and North Carolina, raising over $25 million in planned giving. Jeff has been actively involved in mission strategy for the Presbyterian Church and Young Life International and has traveled throughout Africa, Mexico, Middle East,Central America, as well as rural Appalachia. Jeff graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington with a business management degree, and earned his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Jeff and his wife, Ellen, make their home in Monroe, Georgia, and have three children. An expert in fundraising, Jeff Neufield is a campaign professional who has provided fundraising services over 15 years.

During his career, Steve has directed campaigns throughout the South, raising a total of more than $50 million for vital community programs. Dorough began his fundraising career in 1968 while serving as an executive with the Birmingham, Alabama, Chamber of Commerce. In 1989, he became a professional fundraising counselor and subsequently formed First Community Development in 1994. Combining years of experience in corporate fundraising with his expertise in campaign design and strategy Dorough has established a record of success at FCD unequaled in the fundraising industry. Conducting successful campaigns for Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Councils, Downtown Revitalization Organizations, Technical Colleges, Education Foundations, and Performing Arts and Cultural Organizations, Dorough continues to be personally involved in every campaign FCD undertakes. Innovator, strategist and counselor, Steve Dorough is at the forefront of corporate driven fundraising throughout the southeast United States Dorough is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.
