Bob Anderson still lives on the family farm southwest of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Bob spent over 20 years farming before embarking on his career in farm management and financial planning. Before starting Robert Anderson & Associates, LLC, Bob spent 7 years with the University of Minnesota Extension Service and Southwest Minnesota Farm Business Management Association working with farm families across southwest Minnesota. Bob is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Registered Investment Advisor, and is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. He teaches farm income tax law to tax practioners throughout Minnesota, and has written many publications on farm tax law, farm transfer planning and estate planning.
