, has been a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 1986, and has been engaged in the IT field since 1978. The Associates with the firm are a collection of outstanding people Fred met during the course of his technology auditing career, whom he asked to join the firm. "Our professional staff of Certified Information Systems Auditors, (CISA), Certified Information System Security Professionals, (CISSP), Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) has a wealth of experience and judgment that only comes from practicing the information security profession over time," noted Cox. Fred is the Founder and Managing Director of FDC Associates. He has over 24 years of IT audit experience, including 9 years on Wall Street with major investment banking firms and international banks such as JP Morgan, Salomon Brothers and Sumitomo. Prior to coming to Wall Street, Fred worked in IT audit management roles for Mobil Oil, PPG Industries, the Department of Defense and Coopers & Lybrand. Most recently, Fred was the managing director of IT Audit Services in the South Florida office of a national professional services firm. Fred is Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), has a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Tulane Law School and his Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) certification is pending. He has been a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) since 1987 in New York and South Florida. He is a frequent speaker and a member of the Miami Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the South Florida Association of Fraud Examiners. Fred has bachelor's degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, and completed additional graduate level course work at Carnegie-Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. He is an accomplished blue water sailor and holds a U.S. Coast Guard license as a charter boat captain for up to 100 ton auxiliary sail vessels.

Jim is the Director of Technology Security Services for FDC Associates. He has over 20 years of IT audit and management experience with banks and financial institutions. Prior to joining FDCA, Jim managed the network vulnerability and security assessment services group for a national professional services firm focused on internal auditing. He has spent the past 6 years conducting and managing more than 100 network penetration tests for a wide range of businesses. Jim's technical expertise extends to Windows, UNIX, Linux, AS/400 and various mainframe systems, as well as to network devices and services such as firewalls, VPN appliances and routers. Jim is PCI (Payment Card Industry) certified as an SDA (Site Data Protection) external network scanner. His Information Systems Security Professional certification (CISSP) is pending. He is a member of the New Jersey and South Florida Chapters of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Jim is an Honors Graduate of The University of Scranton with a BS in Information Systems. He is also an adjunct professor of Computer Science at the University of Delaware.

Tom is the Director of Business Development and Marketing for FDC Associates. He has spent over 20 years in a wide range of marketing and sales management roles for high technology companies and consulting firms, including Hewlett-Packard, ViewSonic and Wyse Technology. Tom has been a key executive team member for several technology startups and most recently founded a successful new home information business that was acquired by a competitor. He is an expert in client-server computing, server-based computing, desktop and server virtualization, as well as technology vendor selection and management. He graduated with a BA degree from the University of Southern California and earned an MBA in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley.
