Adrian Hartmann is a seasoned consulting professional in the financial services industry for 20 years with extensive consulting experience in Europe and Asia. He has led multiple complex transformation projects, has established strategic focus topics and led international practice teams (client lifecycle management, idea and innovation management, bancassurance, M&A implementation, software evaluation).
Akshat holds a Masters Degree in IT Business with a specialization in Financial Services from Singapore Management University (SMU). He started his career as a software engineer with Accenture before transitioning into a banking role with Citibank where he worked for more than 5 years in Wealth Management. He has gained extensive knowledge related to transaction monitoring, suitability & pre/post-trade checks with a high focus on business analysis, project management & digital transformation projects. Akshat joined the Finalix team in April 2022.
Alain Huber studied business economics at the University of Lausanne and holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. He has more than 20 years of consulting experience with PwC, Accenture as well as self-employed. His focus lies on Financial and Management Accounting and on implementation of complex business projects in Banking. In 2008, he founded together with 3 partners, the healthy fast food concept HITZBERGER and acted 5 years as CFO. Alain joined finalix in 2013.
Alena Willi holds a Master degree in Business Innovation from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Zurich. She has implemented digital transformation projects at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience (UX) as a project manager and business analyst. Alena has built up and applied in-depth knowledge of Design Thinking in various client projects during and after her studies.

Alexandra Müller holds a diploma in Finance and Accounting. She gained professional experience in small and large international trading firms, service providers and industry companies. Alexandra belongs to the finalix team since spring 2002.
Andreas Imhof studied information-, media & technology management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years, with various projects and line management functions in his track record. Andreas has comprehensive experience in portfolio & risk management, asset & fund management, financial data, fee & performance topics, advisory processes, target operating models & processes, organizational transformations, as well as a sound understanding of technology. Andreas joined Finalix in 2013.
Andreas Kropf studied Information Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He has extensive experience in consulting and line management in the areas of financial services, exchanges, structured products and various regulations like MiFID II, FIDLEG and Sustainable Finance/ESG. He began his career in 1997 at Accenture. After a few years at Julius Baer and PwC he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Derivative Partners Research in 2008. After a year in Executive Search with Dr. Bjørn Johansson Associates he joined finalix AG in spring 2016.
Christoph Hess studied Finance, Accounting and Controlling at the University of St. Gall (HSG). After graduating he worked as a bank auditor at EY for 3 years and thereafter in various business areas and management functions for Swiss Retail and Private Banks for more than 15 years. In his more than 20 years of professional experience in the Swiss finance industry he also gained insight into Real Estate fund and asset management. Christoph Hess joined the finalix team in 2019.
Following his studies in International Management and International Affairs and Governance in St. Gallen and Dublin, Daniel spent four years in consulting with Deloitte and a-connect. Thereafter, he joined Credit Suisse as a Senior Business Project Manager focusing on projects in the field of regulatory and compliance. He has profound experience in business process engineering, target operating models and project management. With a strong flair for digital matters, he finds himself at ease at the interface between business and IT, where he may transform highly complex issues into pragmatic solutions. Daniel joined the finalix family in September 2018.
Daniel Nilsson holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lund University. He has delivered projects in the financial services industry across Europe and Asia working with teams across front, middle and back office functions. He has previously worked in the consulting arms of PwC and Deloitte and has also worked in Deutsche Bank's Wealth Management division. Having worked in the UK since graduation, Daniel moved to Singapore in 2011 and joined finalix in September 2022.
Daniel Severa studied Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). After graduation, he gathered consulting experience with Accenture over three years. Since 2004, he is part of the finalix team and an experienced project manager. Daniel has profound expertise in investement accounting, investment performance, portfolio management and reporting. From various implementation projects, he also gained functional experience with different asset management systems.
David Fehr holds a master's degree in Business Management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). During his studies he worked in multiple industries including his position in the strategy department of an airline. Following his studies David moved to Vienna and worked for Accenture gaining international work experience and building consultancy knowledge. He has profound analytical skills and likes to stay up to date with current digital trends. David joined the team in March 2021.
Dominic Keller studied media science and political science at the University of Zurich. Prior to joining finalix, he worked more than five years as a management consultant in the financial service industry.
Dominic worked on projects for P&C and Health & Accident insurance as well as wealth management, advisory, asset management and digital banking. He is experienced in business analysis and cutover management for complex transformation projects. He joined the finalix team in January 2014.
Andrea holds a doctorate from ETH Zurich in management and a master's degree in international business from the University of St Andrews. In her prior work experience in consulting, Andrea contributed to the design of a new digital strategy for an insurance company and supported the implementation of a new core system at a reinsurance. She is enthusiastic about understanding the impact of changes in IT systems on human behavior.
Andreas Wenger holds a master degree from ETH Zurich and a PhD in Physics from University of Zürich. Andreas has been working in Singapore since 2011 and acquired a deep understanding of the actual challenges faced by banks operating in this region. His experience encompasses business and technology transformation, front office strategies and processes, client lifecycle management, advisory process and post-merger integration. Andreas joined finalix in 2020 after supporting the office build up for a Swiss RegTech company in Singapore from 2018-2020.
Dr. Beat Wirth is in business consulting since 1996. After 15 years as Managing Partner, he is supporting finalix since 2019 as Senior Advisor. He has substantial experience in the business areas of investment management and investment reporting. His particular field of interest is the design of portfolio management systems. In this area he supported projects for a wide variety of asset management organizations and private banks.
Christian Ullrich studied business administration at the University of Augsburg and in the United States. After conducting and managing consulting projects and after completing his Ph.D. at the Research Center of Finance & Information Management in Augsburg he joined the finalix team in April 2014. Since 2014, Christian successfully conducted several projects primarily on the intersection of the client advisory process and regulatory requirements.
Dr. Marcus Fenchel is a program management and transformation professional with more than 15 years' experience in private banking, innovation, sustainable finance, tax reporting and core banking. He started his career as Senior Consultant at PwC, afterwards changed to UBS and spent more than 10 years in different leadership roles where he managed the lifecycles of several product lines and lead innovation and transformation projects of all sizes. Before joining finalix, Marcus served as Managing Partner and Head Delivery at the FinTech company Sixsentix and was Senior Associate at Noveras, a consulting boutique for cross-border banking services. Furthermore, Marcus is a lecturer for investment management and advisory at the Kalaidos University and published several articles and books on sustainable banking.
Fabian Gafner studied business economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Prior to joining the finalix team, Fabian worked for several years in the risk consulting branch of a leading audit firm and for Bank Julius Bär. He posesses sound experience in business analysis and in business project management.
Florian Schroeder owns a BSc in Geography and an interdisciplinary MA in Asian Studies of the University of Geneva. He has lived and worked in China for several years before moving back to Switzerland. After spending 5 years in the management consulting industry, where he worked on several projects in the life & health insurance sector, he joined a startup in the biodiversity sector in a leading position. Florian has profound experience in business analysis and in planning and realization of complex transformation projects. He joined Finalix in August 2023.
Florian holds a master's degree in computer science with a focus on software development from the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil. He started his career as a software developer before changing roles and working as a business analyst, product owner and product manager. With over 11 years of experience in the software development industry, he has gained insight into many projects and expanded his expertise. For the last two years, he has worked in the Compliance department at Credit Suisse as a Product Owner, where he successfully completed an international, multi-continental project.
After his education as a banker, Hans-Peter Schmidt graduated in Business Administration from the University "Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Technik" in Reutlingen, Germany. Thereafter he worked five years with the business consultancy Accenture, where he managed several large projects with financial institutions focussing on portfolio management. It was in the year 2001 when Hans-Peter Schmidt, together with two partners, founded the business consulting firm finalix AG.
Jacob Schmidt is from Denmark and studied Computer Science and Mathematics in Aarhus. After his graduation Jacob moved to Lucerne to start his career as a software developer. He supported businesses in the areas of Accident Insurance, Automotive Insurance, Banks in the areas of retail, investment and wealth management. He is very good at building the bridge between business and IT teams and has extensive experience in business analysis, product management, project management and team leadership. Jacob's passion is to combine technology with human intelligence to develop excellent IT solutions for his clients.
Johannes Ebe holds a Master's degree in Finance from the NOVA University Lisbon and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University St. Gallen (HSG).
He has been working in the financial services industry since 2012, for banks, and consulting firms, as well as an independent consultant. His focus lies in organizational and regulatory transformation. Since 2018, he follows the topic of digital assets and their impact on the financial industry.
Johannes joined the finalix team in July 2023.
Pascal Gysi studied architectural science at ETH Zurich and thereafter worked in London for one year. After six years working as a consultant at different international locations within the financial services department of Accenture, he founded his own architectural firm in 2006 and joined the finalix team in October 2007. Pascal Gysi has profound experience in mergers & acquisitions in banking and is an integration expert for complex business and IT transformation projects.
Ronnie Chan holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from London School of Economics (UOL). He held various leadership roles with over twenty years of experience in private wealth management & investment banks including UBS, Credit Suisse, Julius Baer & JP Morgan.
Leading change management with a firm business, operations & consulting background, Ronnie has a sound understanding of banking procedures & cross-functional roles from front-to-back from a process improvement, regulatory & risk control perspective. Ronnie joined finalix in 2019.
After his education as a banking professional, Stefan studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Zurich and Corporate Finance (CAS) at the University of Zurich. In addition, he holds an MBA from the HSG. Stefan has more than 20 years' experience in project management from various positions at private banks such as Bank Hofmann, Clariden Leu and Credit Suisse. His focus lies in AML (KYC, Compliance Risk Rating), service offering design as well as evaluation and implementation of various tools and systems. Stefan Fejes joined finalix AG in spring 2016.
Tobias Merk has more than 10 years of domestic and international consulting experience in Financial Services & Banking. During his professional career he successfully delivered projects in Switzerland and UK for major wealth managers, private banks and asset managers. There he developed substantial key competencies in the area of regulatory change, sustainable finance and project leadership. While also spending several years in Asia he drew on his local language skills and built up a strong intercultural competency and major change management capabilities.
