We want to help our young men feel valuable in a society that demonstrates constant disdain by making them feel worthless. To help instill a feeling of greatness in our young men we are having a conference. In conjunction with several local organizations, we are presenting the "Saving Our Sons" Conference to help our young Black men between the ages of 12-18 in developing self-assurance and confidence. This half day conference is scheduled for April 2nd, 2015, from 12pm-4pm, at 6901 State Street in East St. Louis, IL... Through this conference, we want to educate, encourage, and guide our Black teens to help put them in a place to enjoy their lives while living to the fullest. We want these young people to know that, even though, there are negative images about them, people are willing to help move those who desire it to the next level...
