Felix Thomson Company was established in 1951 in Fort Smith Arkansas as a home improvement store specializing in windows, awnings, and insulation. In 1971 we also began bidding and selling finish hardware, hollow metal, wood doors, and specialty items to meet the division 8 and 10 needs of the commercial construction industry. The company was bought by Eddie George and Jim Fisk in 1977 and the home improvement materials were phased out with the exception of insulation making our main focus division 8 and 10. To help with this focus an in house locksmith and hollow metal shop were established allowing us to be innovative leaders in the industry. A second branch was opened in Springdale Arkansas in 1980 to help meet the growing needs of our customers. This was the beginning model of what Felix Thomson Company is today.
