Finance supports the instruction, research and public service missions of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill by providing fiscal leadership, safeguarding University financial assets, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing timely delivery of services to internal and external customers. This mission is carried out through Finance's vision of providing students, faculty and staff with an efficient and effective financial environment in which to carry out their daily tasks through teamwork, diversity, innovation, honesty and concern for customers. The Finance team provides effective fiscal leadership and stewardship of University financial resources while partnering with campus schools and departments to manage funds, analyze and improve business processes and make strategic financial decisions that are compliant and timely.
