Dr. Evgeni Sokurenko is the Founder of ID Genomics, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience conducting, generating funds for, and directing microbiology, biochemistry, and epidemiological research. He provides scientific leadership and manages ID Genomics' scientific collaborations. Dr. Sokurenko is a professor of Microbiology at the University of Washington, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1999. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in the area of bacterial pathogenesis and multi-drug resistance, and is a co-inventor of ID Genomics' technology.

Dr. Rechkina has an extensive experience and broad scientific background in Molecular biology and has worked for over 7 years in industrial R&D of PCR diagnostics and production quality control.
For the last two years she has been with the Department of Microbiology, University of Washington, Seattle, and ID Genomics, where she became a leader in the qPCR-based clonotyping, whole genome sequencing and analysis, single nucleotide polymorphism detection and multi locus sequence typing.

Dr. Parker is a biochemist with a thorough understanding of Gram negative pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance. She has extensive experience in patient-oriented, interdisciplinary research focused on identifying new therapeutic and diagnostic strategies.
Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Chemical Biology and PNAS. She holds a technological patent for innovative diagnostic technology. She has successfully managed national and international projects, including biomarker development efforts with the NIH/NIDDK, and vaccine antigen optimization in collaboration with the International Center for Diarrhoeal Disease Research in Bangladesh (icddr,b).

Dr. Samadpour is the President of IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group (IEH), and Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. (MEI). He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Microbiology and a Ph.D. degree in Food Science and Technology and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Samadpour served as faculty at the University of Washington until 2003. In 2001, he founded IEH and MEI, which now have 130 ISO certified laboratories nationwide and are the largest players in the food and water safety testing industry.
