FHS RISK - Key Persons
In 2019 Adrian started at FHS as Director of Claims. As a liaison between our clients and adjusters, brokers and outside carriers, Adrian oversees all claims-related matters for our clients to help develop or streamline their internal claims practices.
Adrian's insurance claims and risk management experience began in 2008 and extends over a variety of industries. He was a former Senior Risk Analyst for CBRE, Inc. and a Risk Manager for EMCOR Group, Inc. and holds the following designations: AIC, CCP, AIS & PRC.
In 2018, Alex joined FHS where he holds a broad spectrum of responsibility, from overseeing a growing portfolio of Real Estate and Construction clients, to managing West Coast Operations. Alex's knowledge in property and casualty insurance enables him to navigate complex insurance issues. His clients attest to his success in developing multifaceted strategies that mitigate risk, improve coverage and save on premiums. Alex is known for delivering the highest level of client outcomes, whether he is advising on insurance program management, asset acquisitions, or providing broker oversight.
Prior to joining FHS, Alex spent 16 years in the insurance brokerage space with his last position at Willis Towers Watson where he was the West Region Real Estate and Hospitality Practice Leader. At Willis Towers, Alex worked closely with fund managers, REITs, hotel owners & operators, developers, property managers and renowned figures of the construction trades to grow the company's west coast presence.
Alex holds a BA in International Business and Finance from American University. He has been elected as a Real Estate Power Broker by Risk & Insurance and was presented a ‘40 under 40' award in 2014.
Caroline joined FHS in 2022, as an insurance consultant. She received her bachelor's degree from American Public University. Caroline works with multiple clients across the country, assisting with all operational and construction insurance needs. Caroline is also an integral part of our internal operations and process development team at FHS.

In 2020, Christian joined FHS as a Senior Consultant providing insurance consulting and risk management services for Real Estate clients nationwide. Prior to FHS, Christian held various positions since 2004 at Hugh Wood Inc., a global independent insurance broker, including Vice President of Real Estate. His responsibilities included managing the overall placement, underwriting and compliance of the company's real estate program.
Cindy joined FHS, as a Junior Consultant in 2023. Prior to Joining FHS, Cindy served as a Risk Analyst for a large New York City real estate firm, where she focused on certificate of insurance requests and policy renewals. She is a recent graduate of Saint Peters University with a bachelor's in business administration.
Dorcia joined FHS in 2019 and services clients by reviewing policies, endorsements, and schedules of insurance as well as maintaining tracking lists, open items, portal updates and issuing certificates of insurance. Dorcia has worked in the insurance industry since 2005 providing extensive support to account executives, brokers and underwriters.

Erika joined FHS in 2019 as a Senior Consultant who manages and oversees all operational and construction insurance related matters. Erika works strategically with clients and brokers to provide optimal coverage and premiums, identify and resolve any gaps, standardize contracts to ensure maximum protection, and streamline insurance processes.
Prior to FHS, Erika worked at Marsh USA since 2009 as a Property Broker and previously an International Casualty Advisor.

Ileana joined FHS in 2018 to provide counsel for claims and contracts. She manages personal injury and property claims by collaborating with insurance companies and outside counsel on litigation strategies to ensure all possible risk transfer options are explored. Ileana also provides claim reports and reviews insurance provisions in commercial leases.
Jill joined FHS in 2015. She is responsible for all internal financial and human resource operations. Jill graduated with her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Rochester.
John started with FHS in 2023 as a Senior Consultant providing risk management and insurance consulting services for large real estate investment firms across the country. In this capacity, he is responsible for advising clients on program design and implementation, negotiating contracts, and implementing overall risk management strategy.
John entered the insurance industry in 2012. Before joining FHS, John was the Southeast Zone Real Estate Leader and Senior Vice President for Marsh in Washington, DC where he was selected as a Real Estate Power Broker in 2023. He previously worked for another global broker where he was outsourced to a global investment manager and oversaw insurance and risk management for their US Real Estate platform.
Kate joined FHS Risk Management in November 2023 as a Senior Consultant. Kate graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 with a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance and began her career as a Personal Lines Underwriter. She then became a Commercial Lines Client Representative for Marsh USA. In 2011, Kate joined USI Insurance Services in Atlanta, GA as an Account Executive and Commercial Lines Team Leader and obtained her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2012. Kate worked on the MidSouth Consulting Team for 12 years servicing a variety of real estate accounts.
A recognized authority on insurance issues impacting real estate and construction developers, Marc has operated as an outsourced risk management and insurance consultant at FHS for over 20 years. As a prominent lecturer in the industry, Marc has been sought out for his expertise by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) on critical issues such as New York Labor Law and Terrorism.
Marc advises clients on insurance program designs, contractual review, and risk transfer programs as well as OCIPs, CCIPs, and Environmental and Management Liability. Marc's expertise in the real estate and construction industries has been an invaluable resource for FHS.
Prior to joining FHS, Michael led a real estate practice group at a global brokerage firm and was responsible for procuring insurance for many of the world's most prominent real estate, hospitality, and construction firms. As a principal at FHS, he's now responsible for analyzing risks, evaluating client real estate exposure, and ensuring that insurance representatives implement recommendations correctly and cost-effectively.
Michael holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, speaks at real estate and hotel industry conferences, and has been presented with the title of Real Estate Power Broker by Risk & Insurance.

Nicholas joined FHS in 2015 as a Senior Consultant. He reviews and presents property, liability and corporate line renewals, prepares allocations of premiums, reviews insurance of vendors and tenants, and negotiates requirements within leases. Nicholas also works with brokers to provide necessary documentation to lenders for both renewals and refinancing.
Nicholas began working in the insurance industry in 2010 at Geico and USI prior to his position as Client Services Manager on the Willis Towers Watson Real Estate Practice Team.

Nyasia joined FHS as a consultant in 2023. She provides risk management and operational support across various client accounts. Prior to joining FHS, Nyasia served as a Risk Manager for a New York City General Contractor in the multifamily and affordable housing space, overseeing CCIP administration, claim management, and certificate tracking.

Peter joined FHS in 2018 as a Senior Consultant to manage and oversee Risk Management operations for large private equity Real Estate Owners and Developers. In his role, he provides technical direction and reviews on contract language, risk control implementation, and renewal placement oversight coordinating with brokers.
Prior to joining FHS, Peter served as a Client Executive in the Real Estate & Hospitality practice at Willis Towers Watson for 6 years where he oversaw account management, service delivery and coordination of resources for large and complex accounts. He started in the industry in 2010, where he began as an Account Executive for a Managing General Agent (MGA) that specialized in multi-family residential real estate exposures.
Rebecca began her career with FHS in April 2023 as a Senior Consultant providing risk management and insurance consulting services for large real estate clients across the country.
Rebecca entered the insurance industry in 2012. Prior to joining FHS, she spent 8 years with a global broker as part of the Midsouth Consulting team working with large multi-family real estate firms and the largest student housing developer in the nation. Based in Atlanta, Rebecca has extensive experience with ground up construction projects, property management and CCIP administration.
Samantha joined FHS in 2021 and services clients by reviewing daily certificate requests, renewal policies, endorsements, schedules of insurance and all other risk management needs. She has been working in the insurance industry since January of 2015. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hood College, Samantha received her producer's license later that same year and then received her master's degree in Enterprise Risk Management from Boston University in 2019.
Shanna joined FHS Risk Management as a consultant in 2023. She provides day-to-day servicing of the risk management programs for large multi-family real estate firms. Shanna studied at the University of Mississippi where she received a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. She began her insurance carrier in 2014 on the wholesale brokerage side and moved to retail brokerage in 2017 where she worked primarily with real estate investment and development firms for multi-family housing and hotels.

Tanya joined FHS as the head of the Construction Practice in 2019, providing the highest level of Risk Management oversight for a variety of Owner/Developer projects ranging from multi-family, offices, senior housing, and life-sciences to industrial operations. From pre-development to project closure, she provides deep expertise in contract review and insurance coverage placements for projects across the country.
Tanya started in the insurance business in 1992 as a broker and, prior to joining FHS, was a Senior Risk Manager for Lendlease.
Tyla joined FHS as part of the Construction Practice in December 2021. She started her career at a large brokerage firm in 2004 as part of the document production department. In 2008, she moved firms to specialize in their construction department as a client/program OCIP manager. Since 2011, she was a senior assistant and junior underwriter at an insurance carrier providing coverage across the country for their behavioral health and addiction treatment programs.
