Douglas Lacher

Doug is a CPA --turned--business owner passionate about how accurate tax planning and execution create foreseeable business success. He's been a partner at Fellner & Kuhn since 2012, and is a ninja at discovering creative tax strategies that help companies thrive. Doug serves as an advisor, controller for hire and often advocate with the IRS. He aims to help organizations create a holistic view by understanding their financial past and proposing calculated moves for a profitable future. Doug's career experience is vast, encompassing a wide range of professional services including finance, medicine and law, as well as hospitality and entertainment. He has an energy and keeps the office laughing by making up nicknames for everyone. Doug enjoys going to the gym and eating insane amounts of his wife's homemade salsa with chips. His four children keep him guessing, and they love to spend time outdoors hiking and mountain biking in the Columbia Gorge.

Drew Cass

Drew joined Fellner & Kuhn in 2021 and enjoys the diversity of working at a smaller, full-service accounting firm. Exposure to a wide range of tax and accounting projects gives him the ability to see big picture strategies that make for long term success. He is an avid overlanding and dispersed camping enthusiast. Drew loves animals, especially his English Bulldog Dozer and rooting for the Seahawks during football season. He is a US Marine Corp veteran, and we salute his service to our country and to our clients.

Kim Olson

Kim mastered the ins and outs of accounting and bookkeeping. This Quickbooks addict sorts out the numbers and handles compliance so clients don't have to. She can maneuver your 1040 and a myriad of other forms such as Estate and Trust returns or Gift Tax forms. After completing a bachelor's degree, Kim came to Fellner & Kuhn in 2012 as a seasonal employee. We liked her so much, she joined us full time in 2019. Outside the office, Kim looks forward to family time. She loves visiting new places and crossing things off her bucket list with her husband of over 30 years-Europe is up next. Kim is crafty and likes to scrapbook her adventures and make creative cards for those in need. However, she always has time for her latest obsession-grandchildren.

Lauren Motschenbacher

Lydia Le

Lydia focuses on demystifying financial data to empower her clients to make informed, timely decisions and get back to pursuing their passions. She prides herself on offering financial solutions through industry research, so clients can spend their time doing what they love with the confidence that their tax and accounting needs are in good hands. As a licensed CPA, Lydia supports clients by anticipating the issues small businesses face in a changing environment. She has been serving Fellner & Kuhn clients since 2013. Lydia is a fierce dancer and loves West Coast Swing - in fact, that is how she met her husband. They have a daughter and enjoy trying new restaurants (Korean food-anyone?) and spending time together.

Mary Fagan

Mary's friendly face is the first one you'll meet when you visit our office. She embraces premier client service by attending to client requests, managing time schedules, and tackling unexpected problems head on. Her unprecedented organization and attention to detail keeps our team efficient and on target by supervising project deadlines and securing necessary resources to get it done. Mary has a creative side too. She loves design, art, fashion and the color pink. She cooks and bakes, and we love when she brings her "experiments" into the break room to share. An avid adventurer and sports fan, this PDX native, loves the Winterhawks and Blazers. On her time off, you can find her hiking the local wilderness or jamming to 40's jazz music.

Rebecca Lacher

Lover of life hacks and all things productivity, Rebecca gives business owners more hours in the day. She is hyper-creative and helps the entire team discover new ideas to streamline processes and build better back offices by aligning necessary resources to get it done. Rebecca knows that open communication between professionals keeps companies organized and on track. Whether she's setting up internal programs that allow employees to grow, developing a workflow system, or overseeing recruiting, she aims for exceptional and simple. Rebecca is nerdy by nature and reads a lot about personal finance and business marketing in her free time. Born and raised in the PNW, she enjoys visiting Cannon Beach and hiking around Mt. Hood with her husband and four children. DIY projects and homemade pizza are life. Rebecca likes organizing and avoids all contact with their pet gecko.

Samantha Rawlins

Samantha is our Administrative Assistant and billing specialist. She takes pride in providing excellent customer care to ensure you get the value you deserve from Fellner & Kuhn. Like most of the team, Samantha likes working with people and numbers. She's great at solving problems and keeping things moving. Samantha moved to the NW from Texas. She loves travel and cooking and has the most adorable cat.

Teri Johnson

As one of Fellner & Kuhn's partners, Teri does more than crunch numbers. With over a decade of accounting and financial statement experience, she's obsessed with finding new ways of implementing tax solutions that help her clients increase their bottom line. Teri works with clients and in house team members as a consultant, auditor, coach and sometimes mediator. No matter which role she fills, her goal is simple--to enable organizations to understand their financial outlook and plan for the future. Throughout her career, Teri has worked with companies spanning several industries --from healthcare and law to real estate and high capacity investors. When she's not in the office, she loves to explore her hometown of Portland, Oregon on foot with her husband, Seth. You can find her stand up paddle boarding or chasing her two boys down the ski slopes in Bend. She likes drinking coffee and snuggling her labradoodle, Kip--especially at the same time.

Thy Nguyen

Thy prepares corporate and individual tax returns, so clients can focus on things that matter to them. She's your right hand at managing payroll reports, compliance requirements and assisting the team with audits and reviews. She came to Fellner & Kuhn in 2018 after obtaining a bachelor's degree from PSU. Thy's background in bookkeeping saves clients time and grants access to accurate and relevant information daily. This Vietnam transplant still enjoys pho and spring rolls whenever possible. When Thy is not in the office, her days are mostly spent with her two kids building Legos, watching Boss Baby and coloring. She speaks multiple languages and travels the world collecting gifts for friends and family. She frequents sunny spots like California and Hawaii, and one day hopes to visit Switzerland.
