FIRST COLORADO NATIONAL BANK

What we now call First Colorado National Bank was originally formed in 1903 as First National Bank. The original location was in a hardware store located on Grand Avenue in Paonia. Shortly thereafter, the bank moved next door into what is now the Blue Sage Building, which still stands as a familiar downtown landmark. Eventually, the bank outgrew its facilities and was moved to its current location at the corner of Second Street and Grand Avenue...
