Ben Schmidt - SVP

Job Titles:

Ben joined Fiore Companies in 2019 and is responsible for managing commercial leasing, financing, and asset management. He also contributes to strategic planning and serves on the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Fiore, Ben held similar responsibilities for another family-owned real estate company in Madison. Ben earned a Bachelor of Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, as well as a JD from Indiana University's Maurer School of Law. In addition, he holds a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin's Graaskamp Center for Real Estate. Ben is also a licensed real estate broker. Currently Ben serves as a board member (and is former board chair) for Goodwill of South-Central Wisconsin and previously served on the board of Sustain Dane. He is an active member of Downtown Madison, Inc. Outside of work Ben enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Molly and their dog Bruiser.

Courtney Kruger - VP

Courtney joined Fiore Companies in 2018 and leads business development of the firm. She also manages marketing and serves on the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Fiore, Courtney was a financial analyst for Deloitte and specialized in financial services. Courtney earned a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Colorado - Boulder. In addition, she holds a Master of Science in Water Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Courtney is also a licensed real estate salesperson. Currently Courtney serves as a board member for Friends of UW Health, the Clean Lakes Alliance, and the Nakoma Women's Organization. Outside of work Courtney enjoys hockey, golf, tennis, and skiing, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Daryn Schulenberg

Daryn joined Fiore Companies in 2011 and leads the day-to-day facility maintenance of Knickerbocker Place and Lakepoint Commons. Prior to joining Fiore, Daryn spent 27 years in the maintenance industry in a variety of capacities. Outside of work Daryn enjoys spending time outdoors and cheering on the Packers and Badgers.

David Kruger - Chairman

David joined Fiore Companies in 1984 and directs its diversified portfolio of real estate, equity, and capital investments. Prior to joining Fiore, David was a partner at DeWitt, Ross, & Stevens where he specialized in real estate, tax, and corporate law. David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Doctorate of Law from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is an Emeritus member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a licensed real estate broker. David has served as a director to several non-profit corporate boards including:

David Lomeli

David joined Fiore Companies in 2020 and supports the day-to-day facility maintenance of Fiore's downtown Madison buildings. Prior to joining Fiore, David spent 22 years in the Navy and worked as a maintenance technician. Outside of work David enjoys playing baseball, volunteering with Special Olympics, and attending his children's activities.

Deanna Shank - CFO, Treasurer

Deanna joined Fiore Companies in 1998 and is leads accounting, insurance, treasury management, benefits, and venture capital administration. She also contributes to strategic planning and serves on the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Fiore, Deanna served as the Controller for Chula Vista Resort. Deanna earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from Indiana University. In addition, she is a licensed CPA and has held the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Deanna is a member of the AICPA, the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and Financial Executives International. Deanna is a former board member and department chair of the Madison Chapter of Financial Executives International. Outside of work Deanna enjoys volunteering and currently serves at Sunshine Place Food Pantry.

Jason Nosrati

Jason joined Fiore Companies in 2016 and leads facility operations. He is also accountable for overseeing the facility team and supervises construction and tenant improvement projects. Additionally, Jason serves on the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Fiore, Jason served as a member of the United States Army Reserves. His diverse background includes industrial maintenance in the steel and aluminum manufacturing industry, agricultural maintenance, and facilities management with Walmart. Outside of work Jason owns and operates an agricultural focused IT and security company. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his daughter.

Jenna Thorson

Jenna joined Fiore Companies in 2021 and is responsible for leading office management and administration. She also contributes to marketing and special projects. Prior to joining Fiore, Jenna worked for a corporate law firm where she managed office services. Jenna has also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County. Outside of work Jenna enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer Engstad

Jennifer joined Fiore Companies in 1992 and supports the accounting team with all aspects of the accounting cycle including fixed assets and employee benefits. Prior to joining Fiore, Jennifer was an Accounting Assistant at the Best Western InnTowner where she was an accounting manager and was responsible for bookkeeping, deposits, banquet billing, and guest feedback. Jennifer earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting from the Madison School of Business. Currently Jennifer is active in her church, serving as chair of the Health and Safety Committee. Outside of work Jennifer enjoys reading, as well as watching movies and sports with her husband and two boys.

John Dingle

John joined Fiore Companies in 2015, and leads the day-to-day facility maintenance of Fiore's downtown Madison buildings. He is also accountable for working with tenants and contractors to manage projects. Prior to joining Fiore, John was a professional golf instructor in the Madison area. He has volunteered for The First Tee Program, as well as The Boys and Girls Club of Madison. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from the University of Wisconsin - Lacrosse, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Southern New Hampshire University. Outside of work John owns and operates a wood studio where he creates wooden baseball bats for local area sports teams.

Katie Conklin

Katie joined Fiore Companies in 2022 and supports the day-to-day functions of the office. She also contributes to residential leasing, marketing, and special projects. Prior to joining Fiore, Katie was an office manager for a local dog training business. Graduating summa cum laude, Katie earned a Bachelor of Public Relations from Carthage College, and minored in Geoscience and Spanish. She enjoys volunteering and has supported Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) and the Safe Harbor Humane Society. Outside of work Katie enjoys reading, baking & cooking, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Lindsay Kruger - President

Lindsay joined Fiore Companies in 2008 and leads the strategic direction of the firm. She also manages leasing, financing, and investment activities. Prior to joining Fiore, Lindsay was an investment analyst for Churchill Capital Company, a real estate investment and merchant banking company based in Dallas, TX. Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas - Austin. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin - Madison's James A. Grasskamp Center for Real Estate, and is a licensed real estate salesperson. Lindsay is also a member of the 40 Under 40 In Business Class of 2023. Lindsay has been or is currently involved with a variety of local non-profit and for-profit boards. Her contributions include serving as a Board Director for Oak Bank Financial, participating on the Leadership Team for Hickory Hill's Academy Parent Partnership Association, serving as a Council Member for Community Around the Children's Hospital (CATCH), and participating as a Board Member for the March of Dimes - Madison Chapter. Outside of work Lindsay is busy raising three young children with her husband, Dan. She also enjoys yoga and spending time in the Wisconsin Northwoods.

Marge Dilts

Marge joined Fiore Companies in 2008 and provides forecast management and is part of the budget team. She is also involved with cash and investment management, as well as assists in a variety of other accounting and payroll functions. Prior to joining Fiore, Marge was the Controller for the Heidel House Resort. She was responsible for all accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable. Marge earned a Bachelor of Accounting from Silver Lake College. In addition, she is a certified Credit Executive and a Hospitality Accountant Executive. Marge has been an active member of the Business Credit Management Association, the National Association of Credit Management, and the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals. Outside of work Marge enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering on the Packers, as well as spending time with her husband and two children.

Matt Winger

Matt joined Fiore Companies in 2008 and supports the the day-to-day facility maintenance of Fiore's downtown Madison buildings. He is accountable for building equipment and handles work orders for tenants.

Paul Lackey

Paul joined Fiore Companies in 2019 and leads the day-to-day facility maintenance of Fiore's downtown Madison buildings. He is also accountable for working with tenants and contractors to manage projects. Prior to joining Fiore, Paul worked in the flooring industry installing floors and managing projects. Outside of work Paul enjoys playing cards, hiking, biking, camping, and spending time with his three daughters and grandchildren.

Stacy Nemeth - COO

Stacy joined Fiore Companies in 1997 and leads the management and operations functions of the firm. She also contributes to strategic planning and serves on the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Fiore, Stacy held a managerial position with Colliers Turley Martin, a regional real estate firm headquartered in St. Louis, which has since merged with Cushman Wakefield. Stacy earned a Bachelor of Real Estate and International Business from the University of Colorado. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University in St. Louis. Stacy is also a licensed real estate salesperson and a member of BOMA. Stacy currently serves as Chair of the Madison Rotary Foundation Scholarship Committee, and as Chair of the Children, Youth, and Family Ministry for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Stacy is also a member of the Finance Committee for Agrace HospiceCare. In the past Stacy has served as Chair of Downtown Madison Inc., as Chair of Madison's Central Business Improvements District, and was also a member of the Rotary Club of Madison Board of Directors. Outside of work Stacy enjoys spending time up north with family and friends, reading, various half-completed craft projects, and volunteering.

Tamara Woller

Tamara joined Fiore Companies in 2023 and supports accounting, payroll and benefits, as well as risk and treasury management. Tamara is also accountable for forecasting and serves on the senior leadership team. Prior to joining Fiore, Tamara managed similar responsibilities for multiple small to mid-sized firms in the Madison market. Tamara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Outside of work Tamara enjoys playing games, the outdoors, and attending her children's sporting events.
