David grew up here in Pocahontas County in a little town called Hillsboro. He began skiing at Snowshoe when he was 4 and came up frequently with his family during the winter months. At age 15 he joined the ski team and then began teaching skiing at age 16. For nine ski seasons, he taught skiing part time through school. After graduating from WVU in December 2002, David moved to Snowshoe in January of 2004 where he took a job in Real Estate with Playground Destination Properties. During his tenure there, David was part of the sales team that broke 2 WV Real Estate records for sales volume in one day.
In May of 2007, David and his former college roommate at WVU started First Tracts Real Estate. David has helped many families from all over the east coast make their dream of owning a second home or investment property a reality.
In September of 2013 David married his beautiful and intelligent soul mate, Allison. They now reside at the base of Snowshoe Mountain and are enjoying their life together:)
David's favorite hobbies include skiing, golfing, fishing, hunting, WVU football, and spending time with his family and friends. He looks forward to having the opportunity to work with you.
Hello! Welcome to the mountain!! My name is Emily McLaughlin, and I was born and raised in western Kentucky. I moved to the area in June of 2012 to begin a new life as a West Virginia resident. I am now married, and have two young children, Brinley and Emmett. My husband, Jarrett, and I reside in Dunmore, where we live on the family farm. Some of you may recognize me as I worked for First Tracts when they were in the rental management business from 2013-2016. We are now fast forwarding 4 years and I am excited to be back, but in a different capacity.

Ginger is a graduate of Clemson University with B.S in Textile Management. She received her M.A. degree in Human Resource Management from Marymount University and previously owned her own interior design firm in Northern Virginia. She has over 19 years experience not only in interior design but also in interior refining , and staging which provides her clients with a valuable perspective on selling their homes or the unnoticed potential that a property offers prospective buyers. Ginger fell in love with Snowshoe 9 years ago when she bought her ski home. Ginger enjoys the winter months in Snowshoe entertaining clients, friends, and family at her home. year. Ginger is committed to meet the needs of her real estate clients and hopes Snowshoe will bring many happy memories to their family like it has for her family.

Jarrett McLaughlin was born and raised in Dunmore, WV; where he lives on the family farm. Jarrett has been in the farming industry since he was born. He's the 4th generation to farm on the family land and hopes to continue to do so in the future. Jarrett raises about 80 cow/calf pairs and about 20 head of sheep. Jarrett is married to Emily who many may recall worked with First Tracts for a number of years. Jarrett & Emily have two children, a daughter named Brinley and a son named Emmett. Together they enjoy team roping and traveling. Jarrett is excited to be working in the real estate industry and hopes to be able to make your dream reality.

My name is Laurie Barnes. I was born and raised in Nashville TN. Since Nashville I have lived in a variety of different vacation destinations while working in the hospitality industry. I moved to Snowshoe in 2001 from Mammoth Lakes CA with my husband Mark and daughter Caitlin. We love Pocahontas county and enjoy skiing at Snowshoe, kayaking on the Greenbrier river, and hiking and biking in the Monongahela National forest.

"Welcome to Snowshoe Mountain Homes! I'm originally from Knoxville, Tennessee where my journey began. My wife Carol and I moved to Snowshoe in November 1996 for what we thought was going to be one winter. However, like so many who visit Snowshoe, we fell in love with the summers and the resort and decided to make Snowshoe home for good.
I worked in many diverse areas of the resort for the first 9 years we lived here, and then after gaining valuable local knowledge decided to become a Realtor to share that knowledge and the love of the area with folks just like you!
Since becoming a Realtor in 2005, I have bought and sold multiple properties in the area and live at the base of the mountain with my wife Carol and our daughter McKenna. My family and I love to enjoy the resort, county and travel when time permits as we are always looking to close deals for our clients!
