Currently, Alex has invested in a variety of businesses within the prepaid and robotics space. Previously, Alex was responsible Blackhawk Networks (SilverLake Partners) $15B+ gift card US retail business including digital, physical and SaaS based products. In this capacity, he forged relationships with key 3rd party retailers including Kroger, Albertsons, Target and managed the gift card technology platform for Starbucks, Nordstrom and Lululemon and drove 20% growth YoY. Alex was previously head of Original Content where he launched new products, including Happy Cards, that became the most successful product in company history, driving $300M in sales within 2 years. Prior to Blackhawk, Alex founded Samba Connects which specialized in selling gifting and incentive solutions to over 15,000 SMB's across Canada, US and the UK including processing, gift cards, production etc. He took the business to over $60M in revenue and sold it to Blackhawk in 2016.
He is also the author of Localmotion, a best selling book on Amazon about how technology is enhancing the interaction with Local commerce. Alex has sold 3 successful businesses and at his best when scaling businesses. Previous to launching his own businesses, he was a senior marketing leader for various publicly traded companies, including Aeroplan, MDS and Royal LePage.

Dale's career in executive search spans over 25 years. She has successfully recruited board members and high profile CEO's, CFO's and senior management to many of the top publicly and privately held companies throughout North America and abroad. Dale Winston is Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Battalia Winston, one of the largest woman-owned executive search firms in the United States. Dale was also formerly a member of Amrop's Global Governing Board, and served as its Vice Chairwoman-Americas.
Dale has been featured in many media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, CBS News, CNN, CNBC and U.S. News and World Report. In 2008, Business Week recognized Dale as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Executive Recruiters in the World. A graduate of Finch College with a B.A. in Psychology, Dale is active in her community. She is a member of the Urology Research Program Advisory Board of N.Y.U. School of Medicine and has served as a Board member and Chair of the Communications Committee of The Association of Executive Search Consultants. In 2003, the Association of Executive Search Consultants awarded Dale the Gardner W. Heidrick Award for outstanding contribution to the executive search industry.
Daniel holds a M.Sc. from University of Montreal. Shortly after graduating, Daniel started his career in executive search with a local firm before making his mark with two international executive search firms; Spencer Stuart and Caldwell Amrop Partners where he played active roles in Life Sciences, Technology, Natural resources and Financial services Practices. Daniel also launched the Biotech recruiting practice at Caldwell. Daniel's experience in executive search spans over 35 years. Through those years, he has conducted searches at the local, national and international levels in various industries and has placed industry leaders in Canada, USA, France, UK and Hungary as well as Ivory Coast and Central America.
In 1998, Daniel launched Lacoste Executive Search. The firm became the Canadian leader in Biotech recruiting, completing over 300 searches in Canada, USA and Europe. Today, Lacoste Executive Search does work in every industry on a retainer basis. Daniel served on the board of Directors of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal for four years and launched their Corporate membership and their International affiliation programs. He is active in its community in several not-for-profit organizations and professional associations.

Zoe has successfully placed lawyers throughout Canada, and has been working in the legal recruitment industry since 2015. Prior to legal recruitment, Zoe practised law for 10 years on Bay Street, at a National and a Regional law firm. Zoe's intimate understanding of legal practice and the Canadian market has allowed her to assist major law firms and organizations in their legal recruitment hires.
Zoe was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005, she completed her Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall University, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Western. Zoe is mom to three girls and two dogs! She is an active member in her community and volunteers with the Larry Grossman Foundation for Kids which provides underprivileged children access to arts, sports and camping experiences. Fun fact, Zoe danced for Neil Young in Toronto during his Greendale Tour in 2003.
