Joshua T. Frick

Joshua Tucker Frick attended undergraduate college at Mansfield State University of Pennsylvania. While there he was a scholarship player on Mansfield's Division II football team, and was named team captain his senior year. At Mansfield, Mr. Frick was one of just a few college athletes nationally who was invited to attend the annual NCAA National Leadership Conference - which was organized to help instruct leaders on college campuses on how to teach and develop positive relationships between students on college campuses across the country. After graduating, Mr. Frick attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando where he excelled in the classroom while at the same time working nights, full time, to support his young and growing family. Immediately following law school, Mr. Frick was hired by the largest litigation firm in Central Florida. He was the first attorney the firm had ever hired from Barry University School of Law. Mr. Frick handled numerous jury trials both as lead counsel, and assisting, during his employment with the firm. Through that experience Mr. Frick learned trial strategy and winning tactics, from some of the most decorated and recognized civil trial attorneys in Florida. Mr. Frick has gained a reputation in the community as a fearless litigator who is hard working and prepared at all times. He now brings that reputation and experience to his own firm. Mr. Frick's primary career interest has been focused on Medical Malpractice actions. He prides himself on being personally involved and dedicated to all the clients of this firm.

Vanessa Cotto

A native Spanish speaker, Vanessa Cotto was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to Orlando, Florida when she was five years old. Ms. Cotto was born with a passion for helping others and a conviction to fight for justice. As a young lawyer, Ms. Cotto has demonstrated a rigorous work ethic, exceptional leadership skills, and an ability to motivate and mentor others. Before attending law school, Ms. Cotto gained valuable legal experience as a legal assistant in the Central Florida community for several years. While in law school, she was the recipient of a scholarship from the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida and active with the Moot Court Honors Board. She was also a Certified Legal Intern with the Barry University Children and Families Clinic. Prior to joining Hogan Frick, Ms. Cotto worked in a mass torts litigation firm where she represented numerous clients in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation cases filed in both state and federal court, including several Multi-District Litigation actions. Ms. Cotto was also the recipient of the 2013 "Board Member of the Year" award from the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida for her leadership roles in several committees.
