Christopher G. Colson is a Member of the firm and practices in the firm's Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditor's Rights, Insurance, Litigation, Education Law, and Estates and Probate Groups. Mr. Colson works on a variety of challenging commercial and civil matters including contract law and general litigation. Mr. Colson serves clients with pragmatic advocacy and business insight that produces real results.
Johanna F. Ellison, manager of Fowler Bell's workers' compensation section, has been invited to serve on the board of the Kentucky Workers' Compensation Education Association (KWCEA). She has also been elected to the position of Treasurer. KWCEA is a non-profit organization that offers a wide range of educational resources regarding the Kentucky workers' compensation system to industry stakeholders, including attorneys, adjusters, employers, and medical professionals. Johanna has also been a member of KWCEA's annual conference planning committee since 2015.
Johanna Ellison, manager of Fowler Bell's workers' compensation department, has been elected to serve as an officer of the Kentucky Bar Association's Worker's Compensation Law Section. Johanna will serve as Vice-Chair of the section for 2022-2023.
Matthew D. Ellison is a member of the Fowler Bell firm, practicing in the firm's Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Creditors' Rights Groups. Mr. Ellison also has significant experience in all forms of litigation arising out of insurance policies, including coverage disputes and suits over insurance claim handling.
Matthew I. Boggs is an associate with the firm's Family Law Group. Matthew completed his undergraduate degree at Eastern Kentucky University where he earned a B.A. in political science and history. There, Matthew competed with EKU's mock trial team for four years.

Ms. Combs has served as the Secretary, Vice-Chair, and Chair of the Education Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association from 1997-2000. She is a member of the Kentucky Council of School Board Attorneys; the National Council of School Attorneys; and is an Executive Board Member of the Kentucky Administrators of Special Education. Ms. Combs has presented hundreds of presentations and trainings throughout Kentucky to many different educational and other entities.
